@Hellowhosthat

Draw a line firmly under Tee Cummins.

Waldo Cortes-Acosta must surely be heading to the UFC you'd think but for some reason he gives me serious Yorgan De Castro vibes.

Mixed week for wrestlers but it ended ok.

In LFA, 2-2, with Tyus White and Dylan Budka winning but Thomas Petersen and Sam Paneitz lost. The Petersen one hurts more but he needs to go to a real gym...you can kick it back with the homies for a while but you at least need to camp at a real gym when

In CFFC, Greg Velasco beat Edwin Smart.

In Bellator, Kyle Crutchmer, Bobby Seronio and Tyrell Fortune won, but AJ McKee lost, and that one kinda hurt although I thought it was close if not ultimately correct.

But tonight in the UFC, all college wrestlers get the W, college wrestlers improve to 15-5 on the year. Drakkar Klose beat Brandon Jenkins, that was a layup. Devin Clark beat William Knight, that was the most worrisome one but it worked out well. And Pat Sabatini just beat TJ Laramie. Still some good fights left on the night but the ball is rolling so far.

PS: Belal derails Luque. I am happy.

Roberto Satoshi is such a beast, amazing transitions for his subs and so creative. One of the best currently in the game

When does Spike Carlyle get a hypetrain?

Never, he's fought in the UFC. If I was handing one out this week to someone who's ex-UFC it would go to Taylor Lapilus though, dude is one of the best BW's in the world now.

I have 10 hype trains from the past couple of weeks to do due to being lazy though, gonna try and get through a couple after BJJ tonight.

Christian Leroy Duncan

Country - England
Weight Class - Middleweight
Age : 26
Promotion - Cage Warriors
Record : 6-0

I've been impressed by Duncan everytime I've seen him and have been fortunate enough to have been able to catch all his pro fights, the ones against fellow prospect Will Currie being especially impressive.

Dude really turned it up a notch in becoming the newly minted Cage Warriors Middleweight champ though in the way he dealt with another rated prospect in Djati Melan. Knowing Djati was going to come after him with a relentless grappling attack, he simply spent the first round making sure that he didn't get properly flattened out and made sure Melan had to work for the entire round. Once he'd got through that and got his man tired he started opening up with his diverse and powerful offence, finishing with a spectacular flying knee.

With a 22 fight amateur career, he's much more experienced than it looks at first glance and now he's 6-0 against opponents with a combined 35-8 record he seems ready to take the next step in his career.

This might be kind of an early call as she's still fighting low level competition, but this girl seems absolute hell on wheels once the fight hits the mat. Very dominant grappling, always a step ahead on every positional change, constantly switching between mount and back to keep an advantage. What I particularly enjoy about her grappling is that most fighters seem to focus on just grappling when trying these positional changes, whereas this girl beats the absolute shit out of you when doing it. You're in turtle? She's punching you. She's on your back? She's punching you. Backpacking on the feet where most people are doing everything to hang on? Sorry, still punching you.

Iasmin Lucindo

Country - Brazil
Weight Class - Flyweight
Age : 20
Promotion - Cage Fight Series
Record : 13-4

I still find it absolutely wild that this girl has had 17 pro fights at 20 years of age. Anyway, because of that, most of her losses are from when she was 16 or 17 so don't read too much into that.

Fighting former Contender Series fighter Lucrezia Ria, Iasmin showed some really incredible grappling for her age in this fight. She has a nice variety of takedowns to allow her to get the fight into her realm with trips, doubles, singles, valley drops etc all in the arsenal. Once there she has incredibly tight top control, passing at will and threatening subs. Very difficult to get off as she stuck to her opponent through transitions and held onto the back through quite advanced techniques in positions where I think most fighters would have been shaken off or turned into.

All this while being a 20 year old fighting outside South America for the first time against a 29 year old with a decent record.

This one is a catch up one from getting hold of a slighty older card, but I wanted to mention him. Yes he's the younger brother of Michal and yes he has a fairly similar fighting style on the feet, with nice tight hands and decent speed, taking a primarily boxing based approach. Where I think he differs a bit is he has excellent takedown defence, consistently sprawling on his Dagestani opponent here, quite often timing pushing his hips forward to actually end up on top which is a nightmare for wrestlers. Having such good takedown defence allows him to put constant forward pressure on too as he's not so worried about the takedown.

Another one who's fought a lot at a young age and both his losses are from when he was a teenager.
