Limelight My big stupid hype trains thread.

also a couple of dudes that Asaf beat are worth keeping an eye on, like Otabek Rajabov (2-0 pro) (18-1 am) and someone else I'm forgetting atm.

A lot of all those super young IMMAF guys are worth watching. Otabek Rajabov, Yersultan Shakenbay, Muhammad Salohidinov, Oualy Tandia, Patrick Habirora etc. (Just naming the young ones)

Rajabov debut was a bit underwhelming tbh, hoping for a bit more from him next time but there's guys he beat in the ammys looking more impressive so far.

yeah I am putting together a list of these dudes, have like 25 or so, immaf winners, combat sambo tournament winners, 21 and under. Asaf's wins have aged incredibly well.

I dm a couple of them on VK to see when their next fight is

yeah I def agree esp if he's just fighting other dudes who have a 0-1 amateur record.

which also goes back to my point....why the fuck didn't the ufc sign more local fighters for the Baku Card? is there any better way to build a star? what the fuck, even besides Asaf (who I don't think is azer) there a few others who could be signed.

Their roster is currently at max capacity, specially with the fighters they're going to sign from this season of DWCS and TUF. The fighters they released recently were to create space for the new signings they'll get from both. They had plans to sign some of the fighters competing on DWCS instead of having them compete there, but they said they couldn't sign anyone else because of that.

one of the azer prospects on my list is fighting this weekend..23 year old bw Shikhikhlas Dzhamalov . needs to fight better comp, this is a solid test, although his opponent is kind of shady

Shikhikhlas Djamalov 23yrs old (6-0) vs. Hamlet Aslanov (6-1) at UAE Warriors 60, June 13 Hamlet Aslanov is an ethnic Azeri from Kazakhstan, and Shikhikhlas is an Azeri from Derbent

tapology should have some kind of way to subscribe to fighters so you receive notifications if they have a fight scheduled or other news
It's a great idea, however the problem is that it would require a massive staff to be able to cover every event available.

The best thing is to follow fighters on social media. They usually post when they're competing.

I've started following them on insta and vk. yeah good point... Ithough I wonder if AI could help in this capacity. tbh I've been thinking of using AI to make some kind of database of prospects. that can be updated and automated.
