Very impressed with this kid so far. I first saw him fending off a wrestlefuck/cage clinch attempt from Jimmie Pace up at Middleweight but he looked like he'd really stepped up his game in his annihilation of Marcos Lloreda at his more natural weight class.

Looks a really relaxed and loose striker and I absolutely love his footwork, very good lateral movement and finds angles really well. Moves in and out at speed, allowing him to quickly close the distance and counter with hard straight strikes. Really good high kick to go with the straight strikes and having also fended off takedowns from a middleweight wrestler in his previous fight he should have the ability to keep it on the feet against most.

You did well to put Khotam Boynazarov first for welterweight.

Left handed southpaw, Freestyle Wrestling background, (Former world champion in freestyle wrestling), he is the one the UFC or PFL needs to sign. PFL and the UFC has the toughest welterweight division, he will be a fine addition to their assets.

April rankings

The joys of Heavyweight

The RIZIN GP raided the rankings a bit as if they weren’t shit enough already with #5 Alexander Soldatkin going there with #10 Alexander Maslov going back to ACA

  1. Shah Kamali – 1999ish – England – Levels Fight League – 4-0
  2. Josh Hokit - 1997 – USA – LFA – 4-0 (up 9 places)
  3. Marsel Sychev – 1997 – Belarus – RCC – 4-1
  4. Odie Delaney - 1989 - USA - Alaska FC - 5-0
  5. Denzel Freeman – 1991 – USA – LFA – 6-1 (up 7 places)
  6. Bailey Schoenfelder - 1997 - USA - CFFC - 5-1
  7. Joel :eek::eek::eek:lier – 2001 – USA – Fury FC – 3-0
  8. Roman Lukashevich – 1991 – Belarus – UAE Warriors – 10-0
  9. Lazar Todev – 1995 – Bulgaria – Oktagon – 11-7
  10. Azamat Nuftillaev – 1994 – Uzbekistan – Open FC – 16-1-1

#2 Mario Piazzon got KO’d by a random can so forget about him.

Hokit had a solid win in LFA and goes very high in the list because the division sucks.

Freeman climbs a bit too after winning the LFA belt against Cunha

Todev drops a tiny bit after losing a close one with Fleury but I’ll keep him on for now because numbers are low.
No love for Alvin Hines?

Ok. I think you are completely wrong, especially since HW is so shallow.

Idk what do you like about him? I think he's really slow, he lunges over his feet a lot when he's striking, his wrestling isn't particularly good and he's not explosive. Seen him have some close fights with some absolute cans.

He's huge and aggressive and clearly has power. He's 10-0 amateur and pro with 6 first round finishes and 9 finishes overall. He just had a huge head kick KO overda tough guy in Valdez.

Considering the quality of some of the guys in your HW list it feels like an oversight. It's HW. I'd at least take a flyer.

Just looked him up. He is 33 years old. That is not a "prospect".

A 22 year old man is not a "kid". I understand the language...but I just like to point that out whenever I see it.

Sure, but things are a little different at HW. And for the purposes of this thread he is. We wouldn't even be the oldest guy on the he HW list.

What about Steven Asplund?
