Ken Sekeletu

Country - Zambia
Weight Class - Featherweight
Age : 24
Promotion - EFC Africa
Team - Not sure
Record : 6-0

Really impressed by this guy, I think he's the next great African hope. Really impressive striker with nice control of range and very sharp striking with good speed. Beat Jean-Jacques Lubaya who was also on my radar in a really impressive performance and then crushed Vince Bembe with an early body kick.

He's got a big test of his wrestling coming up in TUF veteran Roedie Roets coming up soon, but if he manages to pass that then he looks every inch a UFC fighter.

Boris Mbarga Atangana

Country - Belgium
Weight Class - Light Heavyweight
Age : 26
Promotion - King of Fighters
Team - Not sure
Record : 5-0

Very active guy who between his amateur and pro bouts has fought 13 times in the last three years since making his ammy debut. Willing to take fights at 205 or 265 but would for sure be 205 in a big promotion.

Physically he's a very gifted guy who's very strong, powerful and explosive. He also seems to have decent enough stamina to go with it, especially for a muscular guy at a higher weight class. He had to go three rounds against Alexis Kiti and although Kiti made it tough he found enough to keep pushing and get a choke at the end of the third before stepping up to heavyweight to demolish UFC vet Raphael Pessoa.

He seems to be developing nice striking, with some really nice rips to the body and decent footwork, his grappling seems to be coming along well and he's especially good at doing damage when he's on top.

Seems to be rapidly developing and has all the physical tools so definitely someone the UFC should pick up imo.

He's Team Sendo with Habirora, Akhdim, and Boulabarj. I think he's more of a MW than a LHW. He has a DDP-Cannonier body type (around 1.8-1.85m jacked). He fought a tall LHW (Kiti?), looked small, and struggled a bit
At LHW, Bafodé Gassama looks like a good prospect
Middleweight
Ilian Bouafia - France - Hexagone - 5-0
He is signed with Ares, he fought for Hexagone only because Ares didn't have events during the summer
Bantamweight

  1. Asaf Chopurov – 2001 – Georgia – RCC – 7-0
He's from Azerbaijan
Strawweight
Assia Miri – 2003 – France – Ares – 2-1
Retired

Sucks about Miri. One loss and she retires.

Chopurov is not from Azerbaijan. He was born in Georgia and lives in Russia.

Can't watch it, what is there? If he walks out with flag then there is Belal, Barberena, Shahbazyan (Americans who represent some other countries/places). I think in UFC both Sadykhov and Fiziev walks out with Azerbaijani flag while being born in other countries and living their lives outside of Azerbaijan.

Strawweight

  1. Julieta Martinez - 2004 - Argentina - Samurai Fight House - 8-0
She just signed with Upper Sports Management. They manage many LATAM fighters like Lazy Boy and a ton of the fighters that train at the UFC PI in Mexico City.

I’m not saying we won’t, but now there’s a chance she won’t fight in SFH again. Given the UFC passed on her because of her age, she’ll probably pop up in LUX as they’re close with Upper.

The upcoming Uae Warriors card looks good on paper. Has both Amru Magomedov and Zaynukov(Sparring partner for Islam). Amru is facing a solid opponent with UFC experience in Alex da Silva. Will be fun to see that matchup. Hopefully Amru does well and the UFC picks him up.

@Hellowhosthat - serious 205lb prospect Julius Walker signs with the UFC, debuts in Seattle against Alonzo Menifield. Hate that debut for him.
If he's a good prospect he should win imo. Sure Alonzo has solid TDD and can crack, but he's 37 now so he's firmly in a position where new talent should be working him over.

@Hellowhosthat

Have you seen Ullubiy Amirzhanov fight?

Kid reminds me of a young Said Nurmagomedov.

Nasty front chokes also.

Good lord that was impressive. Really fast foot speed, lots of hip feints, dangerous off the lead leg without the switch. His poise seemed better than Said who's kinda herky jerky. Any idea how old this kid is? Ullubiy would make him from where? Odd name, maybe Kumyk?

I believe he is 23, and from Dagestan, not sure about his ethnic group.

This is his last finish and it was against an opponent that is quite good themselves imo.

Definitely not a perfect fighter yet but one with the potential to go all the way.

Amru Magomedov just brutalized former UFC fighter Alex Da Silva in under two minutes. Dude is a monster. Needs to be in the UFC ASAP.

Yeah, Amru is the best LW prospect in the world right now. Regardless of promotion dare I say. Plenty of guys need to be in the UFC ASAP at 155 though, Amru just number 1 on that list.

The UFC didn't sign a lot of guys recently, PFL is counting its pennies, GFL is focused on senior citizens, ONE is shrinking its MMA roster. Next DWCS season might have a lot of great prospects, guys like Bojkovic, Amru Magomedov, Bilal Hasan, Kubanza, Yakhyaev, Sezinando and Brito from Fighting Nerds + some good PFLator rejects
