Limelight My big stupid hype trains thread.

PQD on the next LFA card and of course it is the first fight of the card.
I bet it is gonna be another dark match, can I just see this guy fight ffs LFA?

Luis Elías is a prospect to keep an eye on. He’s from Peru, training at Entram Gym in Mexico which is one of the best gyms in Latin American MMA, undefeated and fighting in UWC which is one of the better organizations in the region. He just put on a striking master class and then submitted his opponent with a calf slicer.

Missed it live but watched it on the LFA youtube channel.
Oliveira looked good in there, albeit with a favorable matchup I suppose, guy with more range but who wanted to grapple so had to close the distance.
Takedown defence looked solid, don't know what it is called in english but pushed the chin to break the opponents posture and reversed clinch positions on the cage to break free. Everytime he actually threw something he hurt the other guy.
Iam pretty sold on the guy, hope he doesn't get one shot Ko'ed now that I said that lol

PQD is gonna be getting a post. Looked good to me.

Before the fight between Midaev and Svischev Rakhim said that he would like to fight Vyacheslav under boxing rules so seems like that's his next fight.

Next for Mineev, according to Gadzhiev from Fight Nights is kickboxing bout against Ivan Shtyrkov, at October 20. Not 100 % official but that's their plan.

Mo Miller lost again.

Imo he should get away from Fury FC cuz all he does there is take Ls. At least he didn't get subbed this time around though, so there's that.

Thanks, sherbro. Hope to see Varts in an American promotion soon.
Today in interview Vartanyan said that he was promised 70 000/70 000 $ (not sure who promised it) and that ACA offered more than that. He believes that if he signs the deal he will be highest paid fighter on their roster.

Glad to see he will get paid, sucks we will probably never see him in America.

I assume it’s Bellator since he had another interview where he said ACA offered double that

I thought it could be the UFC because it sems a bit unlikely that Bellator would make a 70/70 commitment now that they are on the verge of a sell.

Shit, ACA is offering something like 150/150. Thanks for the link. Yeah, nobody in the US will be paying that.
Before that he said that UFC is his dream. Also said today that offer should be at lest 50/50 for him to look at it.

Highly unlikely the UFC would offer him that but who knows, hopefully they will. If I was Bellator I would go up to 90/90 and hope he takes it.

Eminov signed with Naiza.

Musayev, Medvedev and Ignatiev are fighting next week at RCC event (kickboxing fight in case of Ignatiev).

Miguel Grijalva from Ecuador who you had on your list previously just suffered a freak injury. He was scheduled to fight Martin Mollinedo in the main event of FFC 64 in Peru. He walked out and he jumped in the cage and completely blew out his knee. I can't believe it. The one fight on this card I wanted to watch and it ended like this.
