Buckle up, fellas! Vartanyan will finally moving to UFC or Bellator.

He has an offer from Bellator and he is starting negotiations with the UFC again. He got his visa since January so he can join immediately. He will also talk to ACA to hear their offer, it is a matter of money.

Well, we all know that if its a matter of money then he will not be joining the UFC.

IDK how much he is worth bit I do think he has established himself as the best LW outside the UFC. His issue is his age.
 
Ruziboev is on the UFC card next week, when did he get signed completely went past me.

I'd really like to see a wave of top Russians signed. The idea of "Russian domination" is a fun theory we haven't really gotten to test considering how few the UFC actually signs. If they signed 3-4 of the best available talents from the region at each weight it'd be really fun to see. Adam Masaev, Amru Magomedov, Vartanyan at 155, at 145 you got Evgeniy, maybe the winner of Omarov vs Suleymanov, at 135 there's Khavalov and Shaykhaev. I'd like to see Russian vs Russian in the UFC and Bellator more often too.

I think chances are low that UFC will sign Russians with less than 10 fights. And I think you posted some time ago that seems like UFC last signed fighter fresh from ACA years ago? I posted here somewhere that according to Ermekov winner of tournament will get his contract extended for 3 more fights.

I think the difference with Amru Magomedov is he has a clean visa and travels to the US and trains out of AKA already, Javier has ties with the UFC and can get guys signed plus he's exciting. Maybe late replacement or contender series 2023-24 but if he wants to be in the UFC, I'm sure he's able to be regardless of less than 10 wins. And yes, they rarely sign Russians from ACA, I can recall only a few like Said Nurmagomedov but that was a long time ago. Vartanyan and Amru seem like clear choices to me from the UFC, Masaev I don't know if he has a visa even? Shaykhaev you and Hellowhosthat have said is trying to get signed and I know he trained with Aljomain at some point in the past, I believe in the US? So hopefully he gets signed but he hasn't fought in a long time...seems like a good candidate for contender series if he has visa or direct signing. Renat Khavalov, Khabib said he wanted to get him into the UFC eventually back in a post fight Eagles FC interview and since Khavalov has been inactive and Ali and him have been saying news soon, don't know if Khavalov has visa and he has only 8 wins I think. They should start signing some of these guys though, otherwise Bellator or PFL should. Too much talent being left on the table, the fighters Khavalov has beaten far exceed the UFC's standards for signing a fighter.

I saw Dorzhiev who is in US wrote on Twitter that big promotions are not interested in him and regional has problems with finding him opponents (but now he is fighting in CFFC next month).

Said never fought in ACA, Rodolfo Viera fought but they signed him in 2019.

Shaykhaev brothers are in US.

Didn't ACB turn into ACA? I thought it was just a change in name.

Hopefully Khuseyn and Eduard get signed then soon, Ignatiev too if he has a visa. I think Amru is just a matter of time since he has the visa and the AKA connection.

ACA is ACB, WFCA and Tech-Krep FC merged into one. I think when ACB existed there wasn’t any sanctions against Akhmat.

This dude looks insanely promising. Fights in a very weird paced style, like he slows down, lulls guys in, then speeds up and cracks them with super athletic shit. Really, really fast at covering distance when he decides to go and really powerful too. Sprawl seems to be there too although admittedly not against a super high level guy, definitely someone to follow with interest though.

This guy reminds me of Parnasse a bit in the way he moves slickly on the back foot, drifting away from his opponents strikes and finding his own fast counters. Just very slick and hard to hit and with huge consequences when you miss.

Has clear power too and I was impressed with how easily he changed modes from drifting back and countering effectively to moving forward quickly and obliterating his opponent when he clipped him. Great killer instinct.

Alibi Idiris

Probably about time I have Idiris the formal hype train treatment seeing as he's been in the rankings for ages at this point and now that Maksum and Almabaev have signed for the UFC he's taken their mantle as the best Kazakh flyweight on the regionals.

Naiza found him a pretty decent undefeated Brazilian who actually looked okay, but Idiris wore him down with insane cardio and great output and pressure. He mixes in some flashy stuff to go with the good fundamentals that makes him really fun to watch.

If the rumours about Bellator talking to him are true, he'd be a great start to them building a flyweight division

Stuff like American companies can’t invest in them. From what I’ve seen Bloodyelbow posts articles about Akhmat fighters in UFC and sends mails to UFC asking to comment so maybe UFC doesn’t want more of stuff like that to happen.

I think Alibi said that because there are 3 Kazakhstani Flyweights in UFC he will sign with some other company, but if they cut Zhumagulov maybe both him and UFC will be interested.

Stuff like American companies can’t invest in them. From what I’ve seen Bloodyelbow posts articles about Akhmat fighters in UFC and sends mails to UFC asking to comment so maybe UFC doesn’t want more of stuff like that to happen.

I think Alibi said that because there are 3 Kazakhstani Flyweights in UFC he will sign with some other company, but if they cut Zhumagulov maybe both him and UFC will be interested.

I think it's probably time for Zhalgas tbh, he's had some close fights, but he just lost pretty clearly to a 21 year old debutant.

Got 2 offers to fight in boxing.
Not happy with what Bellator offered, informed them and waiting what they will change. UFC is his dream.
Can’t sign with anyone because after contract ended there is 2 months exclusivity in which ACA can offer him contract.
