9/8 - AM Workout

Deadlift day - wasn't sure how my hamstring would hold up today, so I stretched & then started with a light warmup - it felt a bit tight so I didn't push it. I switched to light weight/high rep Romanian Deads just to get some blood flowing into the muscle.

Still bummin that the Chargers lost last night....

Nice 2 mile run this morning plus a 1 mile walk. Legs felt good, no pain in hamstring.

BJJ tonight & hopefully I can deadlift tomorrow!
 
How long have you been doing BJJ?

I started in January 2009. I've been pretty consistent, except for time off due to injuries or travel. I'm currently a Blue Belt with 1-stripe. I *really* enjoy it - this is the best stress reliever I've found...
 
9/15 - AM Workout

Today was Deadlift Day, which I haven't really been able to do because of a pulled hamstsring. But I felt pretty confident going in today, because there was no pain or tightness in 2 hours of BJJ last night. I stretched & warmed up pretty good & was able to complete the entire workout! Stoked!! Maybe I'll get back on the sprints soon...

Could not go to BJJ tonight due to massive stomach cramps & the runs!! I'm never eating Chipotle again!!

** According to the Jim Wendler Calculated 1RM, my 1RM for bench is now 289! :-)

9/20-9/24

I was travelling all week for work, so didn't write my workouts in the log, but I did lift. Since this was my deload week, it worked out well. I used the weight room in the Hyatt, no free weights, so had to make due with machines...

The SOHP 125x11 was great! Last month on week 1 I did 120x10, so I'm getting stronger!
