MVP when he faces real strikers

OP's username is the stuff of legend

MVP is entertaining and super fast, and now we can see how good he actually is. Don't get why anyone would dislike him based on the competition he faced. Yeah , he faced some cans but he also fought Lima, Storley and in his last fight destroyed Yamauchi's leg in like 20 seconds

When Paul Daley takes you down at will, I'm not sure how far you can expect to go in the WW division of the UFC without cherry picking fights.

Holland will allow MVP to win a UD because even tho he can win with grappling, he’ll just fight at range and let MVP light him up all night.

I know the balding aging contigent of sherdog gets all butt frustrated about any/every cocky black guy that exists
Shut your face, fool. I think the T.S. post was pretty dumb but it has nothing to do with that and it's not your job to impugn anyone else's motives or mythical biases. Stick to comfortable room temperature IQ pursuits and stop pretending to be omniscient.

Yeah, I kind of like the addition of MVP, but now we've got two Wonderboys at WW--aging strikers who want and need "fun fights" with other guys who only want to stand. I'm not sure if there's enough supply to meet that demand.

I think he and Holland is a toss-up, though. Holland's Fight IQ isn't very good.

MVP got caught in a weird position. Great finish but he probably couldn't replicate the win again.
And it's not like he was beating MVP down all fight. It was competitive and he was fortunate to catch MVP at the right spot during a scramble.

LMAO and right on cue here they are

I didn't think he got exposed against Storley at all, I thought Logan was going to beat him easily but it was very close and you can even argue for MVP winning. Logan is a world class fighter.
WTF it was not close as MVP was on his ass the entire fight trying to butt scoop up the fence, he did absolutely nothing significant at all that's complete BS take.

Nothing close about that fight at all, during the tail end Storley was beginning to land real shots on him because MVP was beginning to fade from being wrestled for the entire fight had it went on for longer I believe MVP would have been tko'd.

It really amazes me how so many people will score flicks and taps/weak shots so high instead of control and dominant position, while it may look as though someone is not doing anything but holding a position the fact is getting controlled will suck the energy out of you and eventually shots will be easier to score that's what I saw happening in that fight, dancing around and throwing air shots and having a glorified sparring match which takes place a lot today is just as boring and as much not fighting as simply lay n praying on top of someone for the entire fight.

There are in fact boring ass striking matches I'd argue there's more of that nowadays than ever but as I already mentioned because of dancing and being flashy it gets a pass, total nonsense.

Nobody said anything about "it" not existing. Historic examples aren't evidence that current day MVP is getting a large section of his hate due to racism. You're all over the place, bud. Hope you have a nice day though.

Also, why do people keep making these baseless assumptions about my life?

Naw lol there's plenty of legitimate reasons to hate MVP the dude is definition can crusher I want even slightly implying that he's disliked exclusively due to race, I merely mentioned that there is a recurring theme for cocky black fighters and historically ALWAYS has been in every sport. You even agreed with me on that.

My point regarding MVP is that aside from his can crushing if you're a JBG disciple and MMA fan the man deserves his props for caving a motherfuckers skull in which is by far the most savage injury in MMA history (imo). All I did was mention that there's a contigent of balding grumpy cunts who will hate him for a very specific reason.

Not only that but there seems to be a cross-section of those kinda people who dickride other shit talkers like Colby making it seem that to SOME being cocky isn't the problem.
That's just my "empirical evidence" from being on this site for a while, it's by no means a scientifically validated statement lol just my opinion.

Dunno if I wasn't clear on that, I can only be so specific while taking a shit which is where (I assume) all sherdog posts take place, so you'll have to bear with me on that lmao

As for making assumptions about your life? No idea what you're talking about with that one brody. At no point was I going in on you or anything like that.

Dunno shit about you other than the fact that while we may disagree we can have a civil discussion about it and that alone makes you a good dude in my book. That kinda discourse is long gone in today's word of social media and divisive identity politics and always an enlightening experience, for me at least lol.

Hope you and yours have a good holiday season. I'm about to get started on the well needed PTO, cheers

Yeah he had just great reaction time to catch him. Striking wasn't a blow out by any means.

So he got caught, big deal.

This has happened to many elite strikers such as Anderson and Wonderboy. Doesn't diminish their greatness.

MVP can do great things if given the Alex Pereira treatment.
