It's been trending that way for a minute. I've never really bothered debating American liberty compared to state-granted (and quickly stripped) Euro freedom. The entire concept of the codified US Constitution is fundamentally different from what they got over there. "Hate Speech" literally has no legal basis or meaning here and is something the Supreme Court has unanimously reaffirmed, repeatedly.

I live in Sheffield. In fact the video posted earlier in this thread of muslims with police 'backing off' was police funelling them, no different to football fans. No different to any other group at the same time.

I was at the protests as a neutral observer. This caused disruption to my business, many other businesses and uni studies were disrupted.

In Sheffield (the UK's 5th largest city)the protests were a damp squib. On Wednesday I was there as approx 6 EDL confronted a crowd of about 100 counter protesters.

I saw 2 people arrested. One was a drunk tramp.
