Mueller's Patton the back (investigation thread v. 22)

None of us has the information Mueller has, as you know. That's a pointless question to ask. I'm just telling you what the main focus of the investigation is, to find out if Trump and/or his team did that. You're claiming that anyone is going to be prosecuted for merely talking to Russians.

If you don’t think the smoking gun would have been leaked the second it was found, you’re a fool.

Are you saying people who commit crimes being charged is a bad thing?
People get away with crimes all the time. They just realize they need to remain low key. These idiots thought they could have the spotlight right on them and still get away with it.

Like Papadopoulos guilty plea leaked right away

Like McGahn cooperating with Mueller leaked right away

Like Patton guilty plea leaked right away

Etc

Oh wait none of that happened. Mueller is running a tight ship . I'm sure the standing order is any leaks = end of plea agreement

The whole purpose of an investigation is to find that smoking gun. This is a very complex investigation, it takes time. Proof, one way or the other, has to be found through painstaking and time-consuming investigating. Saying that Mueller already has proof of a smoking gun is premature, as is saying that there have been no crimes committed by Trump. He might or might not have committed crimes. We don't know, so we have to wait until the investigation is complete. That might take a lot more time, and the time clearly isn't being wasted, as shown by what it has already uncovered.

This is very basic stuff, it applies to any complex investigation, and isn't debatable.

Evidence Trump conspired to influence the election? Please please don't post something about # of indictments that don't actually address it at all.
You guys are funny claiming the maelstrom around Trump has nothing to do with him. Let's wait for evidence Trump has committed crimes. Will they not matter in your view if they are something other than collusion?

It doesn't to wai who claims that he was against perjury for a blowjob on Clinton. Which I'm not even remotely buying

The trumptarded will certainly try to debate it

That's how an investigation works, by learning what the smaller guys know about the top guy in an organization. There's nothing illegal or unusual about that. It doesn't mean anyone is lying about their guilt, just to play along with the investigator.

I'm not saying anything is good or bad, legal illegal, usual or unusual, I'm just saying what it is.

@computer fogie ya see? So when I'm here asking for evidence from such people, you can quit pretending like i'm trolling the joint up

Well you keep repeating the same question after posters address you directly and tell you what evidence they feel implies guilt. Can you see how that looks trollish? When you get answered in plain english, play dumb, and ask the same question over again, you come off as either a troll, or, very very stupid.

There is plenty to suggest that trump could very well have "colluded" with the russians. Most notably, what we've come to know about the trump tower meeting, the reason for the meeting, and who was at the meeting or aware of the meeting. That, combined with trump and everyone else lying repeatedly about what they knew or discussed at said meeting, and you could see how people would suspect guilt. Statistically, it's probably safe to assume that lying about something often means guilt.

Now, you can be unmoved by this evidence, find it wanting and believe innocence. Fine. But don't act like nothing has been reported to which someone could presume guilt. Hell, it's been discussed in this thread and the previous 25 versions of this thread.

yeah it's sad that nowadays you have to remind people of such things. You gonna pretend Kong isn't implying more? I'm trying to get him to admit he doesn't know shit about what happened. The same thing you're saying by telling me to wait til the investigation is over. Did you see my other comments in this thread?

"Yeah it’s just a coincidence everyone trump surrounded himself with is involved with Russia." @KONG-D'SNT-TAP

So, to be clear, you do think that the wealth of interface between Trump's team (Don Jr., Manafort, Sessions, Cohen) and Russian agents is just a coincidence? And that the meeting between the Russians and Trump's namesake just happened to, admittedly, involve dirt on Clinton, etc.?

This is the gist of what we currently have to work with regarding that meeting, a bunch of lies that have been exposed. It's not insignificant, it's a strong indication of wrongdoing without being court-of-law evidence by itself. These lies, told by everyone involved (including Trump), say a lot about their claims of innocence. If they aren't actually guilty of more than they say, then they surely wouldn't have lied so much thus far.

Why would you have any doubt? Is it the Deep State thing?

"Donald Trump repeated the latest conspiracy theory making the rounds on the alt-Reich, a claim that Hillary Clinton’s email had been hacked by the Chinese. The claim, which started with an anonymously sourced report on the website Daily Caller, has been repeated both on the air and on the net by Fox News.

According to the report, investigators for the intelligence community Inspector General uncovered the intrusion and attempted to get the FBI to take action, only to be stopped by Clinton-loving FBI officials, including the recently fired Peter Strzok. But now the FBI is pushing back on the unsupported claims, saying once again that there is no evidence that Clinton’s private email server was compromised."

I think it's difficult for Trump supporters to fathom the idea of someone running an operation that isn't riddled with leaks.

It's mind boggling how anyone that watches that filth can call any other news outlet "fake news".

Nothing to hide.

Maybe Mueller can just throw an extra charge of obstruction of justice in the mix then.

Trump is such a swamp creature. It's amazing what his fans will tolerate in deference to "stickin it to the libs"...you guys are idiots.

People have been repeating that story everywhere like a fact.

This is very troubling.

Crazy how things change. trump may not and probably won't end up behind bars but he is closer to crime than hillary has ever been lol.

Imagine if a democratic President had his lawyer say the same thing. There would be mass hysteria from the right and sean hannitys head would finally explode.
