When witnessed are squeezed, they don't only sing. They often compose.
yet you made that ridiculous bet with me knowing full well the above. Your disingenuous nature continues to melt your brain.

I can't get over how much contempt trump has for his base

Trump actually hates his idiot base and it has been obvious from the beginning, the base is just to stupid to realize it

But don't you want to see Dershowitz rambling about John Edwards?

I would rather argue about how a fraction works with kids in the Luckyshot thread, it’s that bad....

They hid the listening devices in Grey Poupon mustard bottles.
No American would use that surrender mustard, so they bottles were never disturbed.

Exactly, that is how TSA catches Muslims at the airport, they have Grey Poupon bottles rigged so when a Muslim lifts one up to put on his burger, a net falls on him from the ceiling. That is why Kenyan Muslim Obama always asked for it, but didn't touch it himself, the deep state tipped him off.

I really really want to see that first one corroborated. Confirms my own suspicions about the environment there if true. And it's hilarious but pathetic at the same time.

Sounds like Woodward has his ducks all lined up to support his book. He even got a personal call from Trump and had a 10 minute conversation about the book, which he recorded and posted a transcript of. Trump can't even keep his story straight about knowing that Woodward wanted to meet with him for the book.

Early suggestion for next thread, or a title change, "This is it, Ohr is it?"

However, Dore makes a good point as well. Mueller's primary objective was to find evidence of coordination between the Russian state and the Trump campaign to influence the 2016 election. Nearly 16 months later, he hasn't offered anything of substance to the public showing such coordination. He and the SDNY are veering into extramarital affairs and financial crimes from many years ago.

Hold your horses there Chief. Mueller's first priority is to investigate whether Russia meddled, hacked, or attempted to otherwise interfere with our election process. And if so, to what extent. That is priority number one and always has been. Next would be to investigate if any Americans assisted. Any Trump team relations that get revealed is a result of that main priority, but it is not the sole reason for the investigation. And that goes beyond just Trump and his campaign team. If ANYONE assisted the Russians with influencing or compromising our electoral process ( u know, that thing that is the backbone of our republic) then I, and every America has the right to know.

Indeed, holy shit,

"As the conversation continued, Trump revealed Conway had walked into the Oval Office. He put her on the phone with Woodward.
"Why don't you speak to Kellyanne. Ask her. She never told me about it," Trump said.
Conway acknowledged, "I put in the request. But you know, they -- it was rejected. I can only take it so far."
It was a surreal moment, since Conway has direct access to the President.
"I presented it to the people here who make those decisions, but ..." Conway added.
"Who are the people?" Woodward interrupted.
Conway didn't answer. "Anyway, I'll give you back to the President."
Trump got back on the phone and complained that Woodward didn't contact him directly. "It would've been nice, Bob, if you called for me, in my office. I mean, I have a secretary. I have two, three secretaries."
Woodward repeated that he made multiple requests, as Trump's annoyance appeared to increase.
"We're going to have a very inaccurate book, and that's too bad," Trump said.
Woodward immediately responded, "No, it's going to be accurate, I promise."
"Yeah, OK," Trump replied. "Well, accurate is that nobody's ever done a better job than I'm doing as President. That I can tell you. So that's -- And that's the way a lot of people feel that know what's going on, and you'll see that over the years. But a lot of people feel that, Bob.""

The best words, I tell you. A lot of people feel that, Bob.

Edit: if this is true, I can't wait for the lawsuits, proclaimed loudly and publicly by Trump, yet quickly withdrawn when reality sets in:
"Woodward's book relies on hundreds of hours of taped confidential background interviews and dozens of sources in Trump's inner circle, as well as documents, files, diaries and memos, including a note handwritten by Trump himself.

Woodward's reporting brings a credibility that distinguishes this book from previous efforts on Trump. The author and Washington Post journalist has won two Pulitzer Prizes, including one for his coverage of the Watergate scandal that led to President Richard Nixon's resignation."

Quoted for the blind and confused to review.
Important stuff folks, and you have no business in the discussion unless you understand this.

BW: Well, Mr. President, how can I spend all this time talking to people and — like Kellyanne and Raj and Republican senators?

Trump: Who were the senators? No, they never called me about it.

BW: Senator [Lindsey] Graham said he had talked to you about talking to me. Now, is that not true?

Trump: Senator Graham actually mentioned it quickly in one meeting.

BW: Yes. Well, see. And then nothing happened.

Trump: That is true. That is true. Well, that — no, but that is true. Mentioned it quickly, not like, you know, and I would certainly have thought that maybe you would’ve called the office.

Then later
Trump: I’m just hearing about it. And I heard — I did hear from Lindsey, but I’m just hearing about it.

Trump: Well, if you would call Madeleine [Westerhout] in my office . . . Did you speak to Madeleine?

BW: No, I didn’t. But I . ..

Trump: Madeleine is the key. She’s the secret. Because she’s the person . ..
