I liked that it was satire and want to see a satirical sequel. I don't think the bugs actually did anything to deserve being invaded. Pretty sure the meteor attack was a random coincidence and not from a specific bug attack. Imo a sequel could be the equivalent of Americans finding out that the Saudis were actually responsible for 9/11 and it had nothing to do with Iraq. Now that's a compelling storyline that I haven't seen on the big screen before.

Not to get of the subject but why were the Saudis behind it and why was Iraq blamed? Solely because of WMD. Heard this before but never their reasoning.

Just how we invaded Afghanistan only to find he was in Pakistan I don't think the Pakistani government admitted it but they had know he was there.
