Movies you saw because the trailer misled you

2005 - The Eye 10,

2002, The Eye was epic;
You guys might be familiar with the 2008 Hollywood remake starring Jessica Alba which was MEHh.. just like most Hollywood remake of Asian Horror.
2004, The Eye 2 was pretty decent.

The Eye 10, was a total waste of 90min run time and $8 bucks. Every one came out of the theater shaking their heads.

Akira.

I thought it was going to be about motorcycle gangs from the clips and pictures i had seen of it. I was excited. Sat through the whole movie and at the end i was just like "Wtf did i just watch?"

Left a bad taste in my mouth.

An amazing film.

This movie. Thought it was going to be a war movie turned out it was a bad love story and the only scenes where there is combat going on are shoved into this one trailer.

I remember a great quote on that one from Richard Crouse (I think). "If there was truth in advertising, Passchendaele would actually be called Calgary"

Anyway, my pick is Adventureland. The trailers all made it out to be a Superbad-esque young adult comedy. Despite some comedic moments, it's remarkably dramatic.

The Crying Game and

Another vote for From Dusk 'til Dawn

Krull.

Talk about a fucking let down.

Dont know the trailer but Krull is an awesome movie.

I actually would like a remake, but they gotta keep the music.
