Haven't seen a Serbian Film yet, and based on what I have read here I don't think I'm missing out on much.

Any korean film. There's one where the dad rapes his daughter, then kills her... then has sex with the corpse and his **** gets stuck because of rigor mortis. The mother gets some warm water so that he can get the **** out... and keep having sex with their daughter's corpse.

I did not finish watching it.

Final destination. It's just gore, for sick people.
But dude, those are wrong.

Yep. Being a parent that movie disturbed me for obvious reasons. Even more so than some of the other films listed in the thread. Not watching A Serbian Film or Megan is Missing. Salo was garbage IMO. I know it has some deep meaning but a little too much poo for my liking.

I don't like movies that try to be fucked up just for the sake of being fucked up. A Serbian Film was a major culprit. I remember reading somewhere it was supposed to be some political allegory or have a lot of symbolic meaning. Umm I think it was just an over the top sick-fest.

me too but I took solace in knowing that it was an absolute shit movie and i'd just pretend it never happened.

The original on the other hand- probably p4p best video game adaptation movie ever. Not saying much considering how many shit ones there have been, but still..

True, and that's why I can't stand a movie like human centipede when it just completely goes beyond the point of any credulity whatsoever.

Right. And to me that's a place the Saw movies never fully went to. I mean they really got the torture porn craze going, but I feel that there were at least relatively interesting ideas and that at least one or two of them had pretty good storytelling at times. I mean the plots were always just sort of backburner to the Jigsaw sadistic tests, but I don't think of those films as as bad as say Serbian Film or Human Centipede.


Hostel same deal- while it has some disgusting/disturbing imagery, I at least felt like there were some interesting ideas and good horror elements in there. Hostel 2, to me, was a shitty movie, but they did have some striking set pieces and tried to explore the nature of that fucked up subculture/business.
