Hollywood has been milking Cowboy Costner...

Loved the book.

I hope they don't gloss over the classism that was intertwined in the story.

I'm calling bullshit on this 'rumor.'

After 15 years of statements by Disney saying Hulk isn't a strong enough [pun intended] character to lead his own movie, and being constantly demasculinized not only in the movies but also in the She-Hulk series.... now they're giving him his own movie?

Very doubtful this is actually in pre-production and if it is its going to get the axe very quickly because with Super Hero movies being box office bombs mostly lately, its very doubtful the general public will be interested in seeing a Mark Ruffalo-lead Hulk movie.

Rumors like this reek of Disney releasing this 'rumor' to gauge the reaction online. If its overwhelmingly positive they'll assemble a crew and begin pre-production. If the reaction is mute or negative... 'Oh that was just a rumor.'

Oh, and this was also a recent headline...

I don't know how popular of an opinion this is, but Norton as Banner was a rare 10/10 casting in super hero movies, and there's only been 5 or 6 in my opinion.

And its a damn shame both Incredible Hulk didn't make as much money as Disney had hoped... and Edward Norton was an absolute nightmare to work with on set.

Think of the stories you've heard of about the worst Hollywood actors, and Norton is probably even worse than that.

Its a shame not only because Norton was the a 10/10 casting for Banner, but Mark Ruffalo is an objectively mediocre (at best) casting for Banner, and he was the least-impressive actors in every MCU movie he's been in.

The first Avengers movie would have been a good time for a solo Hulk movie, maybe up until Ragnarok.

this thing is pretty crazy. 2 $100m westerns released within 6 weeks of each other. if the first tanks, the second will be destroyed. massive risk. basically a $200m risk that a lot of people want to watch an older guy act like a cowboy.

explains why WB is only doing it because Costner & friends are paying for all the P&A themselves. Probably at least $60m with $20m of that coming directly from Costner.

If it works, he will look like a visionary. I know that Yellowstone is massively popular but the last western that Coatner opened was - I think - Open Range in 2003 and it made $70m.

Tom Cruise’s latest mission won’t be hitting theaters until 2025.

Paramount Pictures has delayed “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two” by a year, from its original date of June 28, 2024 to its new spot on May 23, 2025. Like other films of its size and scale, the eighth “Mission” movie was forced to halt production amid the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike and won’t be completed in time to open next summer. It’s a fate that faces many big-budget tentpoles if the actors union and studios don’t resolve their contract negotiations in the coming weeks.

Thoughts on this guaranteed abortion?

Dude is a bit old to be playing a 16 year old. Also a bit small for Hercules.

On the bright side of films Chad Stahelski is directing the Highlander reboot with Cavill attached, gives one hope for outstanding duel / fight sequences.

There's no e in Cavill.

And he's too black.

<{walkerwhut}>

Hercules is a Greek god.
Greek, as in Greece.
Greece is a country in Europe, not Africa.

And he's an ancient god, from 2000+ years ago.
And 99.99% of the citizens of Greece was white.
And they didn't worship black people, they enslaved black people.
