First Teaser Trailer for Pixar's LIGHTYEAR Starring Chris Evans as Buzz Lightyear

Check out a brand-new trailer for Disney and Pixar’s “Lightyear,” an original feature film releasing June 17, 2022. The sci-fi action-adventure presents the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear—the hero who inspired the toy—introducing the legendary Space Ranger who would win generations of fans. Chris Evans lends his voice to Buzz.

I know there are quite a bit of people stating that reason this movie isn't making the projected money is due to cultural politics.

But, I think there is an easier explanation. The audience has felt a sense of closure regarding the characters for a while now.

I felt the story was complete once the credits rolled on TS3.

Was there really a push for an origin story for Woody or Buzz?

That new predator movie looks like a pile of fuckin dogshit, but itll be hard to be worse than the 2018 film

I'm a bit of a wuss, will I cry if I watch TS3? I've been avoiding it, but this new movie hoopla has got me thinking again.

No.

Disney just wanted another toy-seller piggy-backing off Toy Story's legacy.

BTW, I watched Reasdent Evil Welcome To Raccoon City a while ago, just based on my morbid curiosity of how bad they were going to butcher a RE movie based off the original games, and it was just as horrible as I expected it to be.

And it bombed at the box office.

So... no chance its going to get a sequel. Thank God.

Wait, there's no chance right?

No chance?

Aw fuck....

“What I know is it was very successful in terms of on demand, a lot of people sat at home and watched it, so I think they’re very happy over at Constantin and Sony, all the guys who run that show. I certainly hope to go back and play Albert Wesker again, it ended in a way that I was like, ‘Oh, I can get used to this guy.’ Also, too, where he’s going, I think he can be very interesting, so I certainly hope so (that there will be more),” Hopper told ScreenRant.

Some other YouTube video quoted the director saying he'd love to adapt RE4 & Code Veronica into a movie.

<1>

Fuck me, just let RE movies die and rot in piss.

And seriously, fuck each and everyone that actually paid money to see these... calling them shit is a compliment... movies, yes including the last few Paul Anderson films.

They intentionally put zero effort into them because they know dumb fucks will pay to see these dumb fucking movies.

That's why Hollywood makes dumb fuck movies for dumb fucks, because you dumb fucks are satisfied with dumb fuck movies, and will pay your dumb fuck money to see the next dumb fuck movie.

BTW, this rant also extends to the dumb fucks that paid to see recent Star Wars movies, Terminator movies, Predator movies, Star Trek movies... etc etc etc.

So you dumb fucks can go dumb fuck yourselves.

All Predator movies other than the original are terrible. I guess Predator 2 was only mediocre but based on the track record of all non Arnie Predator movies why would you think this one had any chance of being good?

Im also a big fan of Predator 2,which is one hell of a good time and will fight any man who says otherwise.

I didnt have high expectations, just givin my opinion.

I thought Elvis didn't really know how to play guitar?

Elvis might not even make 200 million worldwide. It needs to make around 350M to be considered a hit.

It kind of irks me that this movie will not be even profitable as it was the memorable cinematic experience form me this year and it may not be topped for a long time.

its 2022, Elvis is not looked back with the same love and things as he once was, and his story has been done enough.
plus, its Baz. I hate that guy and his style.

This was just another of the "bohemian rhapsody and rocket man did well! so we gotta make bio pics!" (well rocketman to a lesser extent)

That generation that Elvis was a part of is largely not talked about outside of music historians these days and their influence.

A bowie movie for example would make a lot more money if it was done right and authorized by the Bowie clan, because Bowie is still so revered
