Hollywood people have a way of staying younger longer. 45 is definitely not too old to play James Bond.

It's not too old to play him, obviously, but I'd say it's too old to start a whole new Bond run. He'll be wearing Depends by the time he leaves the role.

Naah. He will probably stop in his early 50's. Sean Connery played Bond the last time when he was 53, Roger Moore last played Bond when he was 58, and Danial Craig made his last appearance as Bond at 52.

Aldis Hodge in Talks to Play Hawkman in New Line's BLACK ADAM Movie
Aldis Hodge, who starred in City on the Hill and appeared in this year’s remake of The Invisible Man, has nabbed the high-flying role of Hawkman in Black Adam and is now in final negotiations to join New Line's action-adventure thriller featuring the DC Comics antihero starring Dwayne Johnson.
Jaume Collet-Serra, who directed Johnson in the upcoming Disney adventure film Jungle Cruise, is directing.
Longtime Johnson collaborator Beau Flynn is producing via FlynnPictureCo. along with Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia via their Seven Bucks Productions. Scott Sheldon will oversee for FlynnPictureCo. and will also serve as executive producer.
The story centers on the character who was first created as Shazam's archnemesis, back when the that squinty-eyed hero was named Captain Marvel, but evolved into a more layered individual.
An enticing factor for fans is the introduction in Black Adam of the Justice Society of America, a multigenerational group that preceded the Justice League. Characters Atom Smasher (to be played by Noah Centineo), as well as Doctor Fate and Cyclone, who have yet to be cast, will figure into the story.
Hawkman, who first appeared in 1940’s Flash Comics No. 1, is one of a pair of lovers from Ancient Egypt destined to constantly be reincarnated throughout time and space, with many rebirths leading to an emergence as a hawk-themed hero using both giant wings and an alien element called “nth metal,” which negates gravity and allows him to fly. In contemporary times, he’s Carter Hall, an archaeologist turned adventurer who struggles with anger issues — and his ability to control a mace.
Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani wrote the latest draft. Adam Sztykiel worked on the previous writer draft.
Black Adam is due to begin production in late winter or spring of 2021.
Hodge is the having a hot moment as he is one of the stars in One Night in Miami, Regina King’s historical drama that is generating Oscar buzz this awards season. He also co-starred with Elisabeth Moss in one of the biggest theatrical movies of the year, Universal and Blumhouse's remake of The Invisible Man.
The actor has been gaining steam with strong notices for his appearances in movies such as 2016’s Straight Outta Compton, in which he played MC Ren, and 2017’s Hidden Figures, and for starring with Jurnee Smollett on WGN’s Underground, co-created by Lovecraft Country’s Misha Green.

Borat 2, the stealth sequel to British comic Sacha Baron Cohen's hit 2006 mockumentary Borat, has landed at Amazon Studios.
The original Borat movie, also known as Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, pulled in just over $262 million for 20th Century Fox.
The Borat sequel, shot and produced in secret in recent months and set to bow on Amazon Prime in late October, had been expected to launch on a streamer ahead of the U.S. presidential election on Nov. 3.
At one point, Universal provided assistance to Cohen because of its relationship to the filmmaker, but the movie belongs to him, according to sources.
Political overtones for Borat 2 are expected after Cohen in June made a secret appearance at a conservative rally in Washington state, where he encouraged attendees to sing along to racially insensitive lyrics.

Jamie Foxx to Reprise His Role as Electro in Marvel Studios and Sony's SPIDER-MAN 3
The next Spider-Man movie is getting a major jolt. Jamie Foxx, who played classic Spidey villain Electro in the Andrew Garfield-starring The Amazing Spider-Man 2, is in final talks to reprise the role for the latest Spider-Man installment, starring Tom Holland and being made by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures.
Jon Watts, the filmmaker behind Homecoming and last year's Spider-Man: Far From Home, is in the director's chair for the third installment, which Sony has dated for Dec. 17, 2021 — although moviegoers have now come to expect release dates to change amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Most of the supporting cast from the previous movies — including Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Jacob Batalon and Tony Revolori — are expected to be on the call sheet when cameras roll in Atlanta this fall. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are producing.
Marvel had no comment.
Story details are being kept under the mask, but having Foxx return is a stunner as it shows a further melding of the previous Spider-Man movies into the current Holland series, which is the first one that has Marvel running point on production.
Far From Home began that idea by bringing back J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, the character he played in the Tobey Maguire-starring Spider-Man trilogy, a move that tickled audiences with glee.
Foxx played Electro in 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which starred Garfield as Spider-Man. The film failed to impress critics and underperformed at the box office with $708.9 million globally. Those muted box-office returns — along with the 2014 Sony hack — paved the way for Sony to do the unthinkable and strike a deal with Marvel Studios to share the character, leading to Holland starring as the webslinger in the Avengers movies and Marvel talent such as Robert Downey Jr. appearing in Sony's solo Spider-Man films.
Despite the performance of Amazing 2, Foxx remains one of the most in-demand players in Hollywood and his casting is certain to jazz up excitement amongst fans. The actor is currently starring in Project Power,a Netflix superhero drama, and is one of the voice stars in Pixar’s upcoming feature, Soul.

The first one was outrageously over the top, and sometimes painful to watch, but often funny as hell. I expect the same from this one.
