Food & Drink Most useless ingredient food

That black rubbery seaweed stuff in moo shu really grinds my gears.
 
It's used in a lot of soups and stocks.

I'll use it when making chowder from scratch, or when cooking down hot italian sausage for a ragu.
 
That's black wood ear mushroom. It isn't seaweed.

Dawg when we have company over I go to the market and just go to the froozen isle and buy a bunch of munchies wndn put it in da oven. Then we have peiple over for finner rhinking theyb getting home cocked food or good takeout <{1-2}>

Am I the only one who uses chopped pickles instead of celery in egg and tuna sandwiches?

But yeah, celery definitely has its purpose.
 
Salt. Doesn't need to exist on 90% of the bland junk it tastemasks.

Celery sucks but it snaps off real nice in your moms ass ts <{1-12}>
 
Green onion; restaurants sprinkling that crap over everything trying to look fancy. Doesn’t do anything that regular onion mixed in with the food can’t do twice as well.
