Most unfunny female comedian

I have a theory as to why they're not funny. It's simple.

They still try to appeal to a male sense of humor like the guys before them. If they would make comedy geared towards women then maybe at least women might find them more funny. We may not get it but women would.

The tricky part is that women are generally not interested in stand up comedy. They'll go to a show with a date and have a few laughs, but in general they're not really invested in it. It's why you see so few women comedians not scraping the bottom of the barrel and trying to be as outlandish and vulgar as possible, usually involving their sexuality or anatomy. They're not really performing for the women, because the women don't give a shit. They're trying to fit in with the men, because once they accept you, you've got it made in that industry.

I’ve gone to a number of stand up shows, and it usually devolves into a feminist lecture... women can do it too, some hard to understand abortion joke, a joke about Periods, tampons, jokesAbout erectile disfuntion, roasting (which ends up as insulting) some of the crowd, and making small penis Jokes, small or huge boobs, a lecture on post birth weight gain, why you should love fat women etc

Think of the funniest snl'ers.. i think of farley, dana carvey, hartman, chevy, ferrell, Murphy, norm.. would you put any female cast members in the top tier? No. Women just arent funny. Jan hooks, kate mickinnon are decent but they arent uo there with the best. Everyone says gilda radner was so funny. No she wasnt. And whoever posted about ali wong being any good.. jesus. I watxhed 30 min of her stand up and laughed once. Shes terrible.

I've watched a number of comedy specials on Netflix, and yeah most of them really don't do it for me. Never seen a female comic as funny as Tom Segura or Bill burr.

Its very weird, because I've met some really funny girls in my life in everyday settings but it seems like any woman who goes into stand-up just can't pull it off. I don't know what it is.

Iliza Schlesinger has done some funny standup.

Sara Silverman has funny stuff, she tends to be hit or miss with people though.

Let’s be real though, standup comedy is both really hard and subjective. Even the famous men are really hit or miss and only a select handful are seen as funny across the board, and those guys are legends because of that.

Yeah I wasn't a fan of Radner either, although it wasn't until years later that I saw her skits on SNL so maybe I couldn't relate to some of her material.
Cheri Oteri and the one that was 'Debbie Downer' had their moments but neither seemed consistent enough.
I would have liked to have seen how Bonnie Hunt could have done but she turned down the offer when Lorne Michaels told her that there was zero improvising if a skit isn't working. I don't know about her stand-up but I always found her quick witted and funnier than others.
*she turned down SNL in the mid-late '80's I think.

I hate saying women comics aren’t funny, but it’s true in most cases. I have seen some that are, but they are few and far between. This new style of comic that tells long boring unfunny stories are bad, like Dane Cook wanna bees but he isn’t funny either.
Iliza Schlesinger is hot but terribly unfunny.
Whitney Cummings is same but not as hot.
Amy Schumer is Ugly and only talks about her smelly cooch and being a whore.
There are some thing men are just better at. The only thing worse than female comedy is do female basketball. WNBA is horrific.

I do think women are funny in movies though.
