Most technical fight in MMA history?

Then how come the judges scored 3 rounds for Lyoto? It was a great display of how would a high level karate fighter deal with a high level muay thai specialist. Clash of styles and technique in the highest level.

This.

Volkanovski vs Holloway 1/2.

Aldo vs Yan for 3 rounds.

Whittaker vs Till was pretty damn good.

Good picks

I much preferred Adesanya dicking Rob down though, since Izzy is a much better fighter than Till :)

Technical could really mean anything. It's a subjective interpretation based on what the viewer values.

Technically speaking.

Conor 2.0 vs Cowboy Cerrone at UFC 246 for sure.
Blasted his orbital with the jumping shoulder strikes he had invented before using Cowboys own signature headkick to put the last nail in the coffin.
He didn’t create shit. Jones has been using those for years. Conor fanboys love spreading “fake news”.

McCrory Hazlett
It's a shame you couldn't make a buck back then fresh off the introduction of TUF. Hazlett came back to half heartedly lose three fights only because he couldn't get a job as a waiter. Would have been cool to have someone throwing bizarre nerdy submissions for a few more years

Except Shogun isn't a "high level muay thai" fighter lmao, and Lyoto didn't come close to winning 3 rds.

Shogun had decent Muay Thai for MMA standards (certainly LHW standards), but he'd get absolutely wrecked standing by any real MT specialist.

If you want to go down the karate vs MT route, Till vs WB was a higher level fight than Shogun vs Lyoto.

Machida of course came close to winning three rounds. I understand why folks think it was a robbery, but it was a closer fight than people remember it.
