Josh Barnett/Minotoro Nogueira 1
Such an underrated fight, I guess it gets overshadowed because it was on the same event that Cro Cop won the Grand Prix, but it was truly an awesome fight.

Fair enough, this is just the one i remember on top of my head. In terms of stand up fighting, surely Fedor vs Cro Cop is one of the best, if not the best heavyweight fight ever, technique-wise, no?Several LHW or HW fights were [at least] on par with that one....

Yeah i can imagine. Crazy stuff really.I couldn't believe Fedor's kickboxing. I expected takedowns and gnp and maybe a sub and he decided to play Mirko at his own game and beat him at it.
Fights like Nog vs Sergei [boxin´-wise] or Nog vs Barnett 1 [grapplin´-wise] deserve mention too.Fair enough, this is just the one i remember on top of my head. In terms of stand up fighting, surely Fedor vs Cro Cop is one of the best, if not the best heavyweight fight ever, technique-wise, no?
Till? LmfaoExcept Shogun isn't a "high level muay thai" fighter lmao, and Lyoto didn't come close to winning 3 rds.
Shogun had decent Muay Thai for MMA standards (certainly LHW standards), but he'd get absolutely wrecked standing by any real MT specialist.
If you want to go down the karate vs MT route, Till vs WB was a higher level fight than Shogun vs Lyoto.
