Yes but the point is that the picture of Ronda is not really that powerful, and neither is the picture of Aldo being handed the title.

I would not have posted Aldo's picture in a "Most Powerful MMA images from 2010" thread.

Both pictures were powerful enough to cause excitement not only for the fighters but also for the growth of the UFC and its power. Whether or not there are people that find the idea of "manlets" or "broads" fighting appealing is irrelevant to how powerful those images are.

Wasn't talking to YOU, dude. You're very egotistical. This is not about you.

Yes you were. You literally were. You quoted me over and over.

Yes you were talking to me. Holy shit. Just look at the pages. You're quoting me over and over. You can't be serious.

I think most of the excitement on both of those occasions had do with the fact that UFC added more divisions, not the actual crowning of the champs.

UFC adding new divisions: A very important and exciting moment in MMA history.
Someone getting handed a "free" UFC belt: Not that important.

B-B-M-N spells "zephid"! Yay!:icon_lol:

depends on who you ask

It'd be more legit if she actually fought to be the first Women's UFC champ, but then again the talent level in the division is a joke to begin with....do they even have enough top fighters to make a top ten list?

That's EXACTLY why they gave the belt to her just like that. If the women's division was stacked, they would have obviously had some bouts before giving the belt

I guess the real question in that case is: should the UFC really add a women's division if the overall talent level is so low?

That you're a moron maybe? Since you overlooked the two fights she won in order to get said belt. Really, people as dim as you shouldn't be allowed to post.

The 145 and 135 divisions of the WEC were actually brought over to the UFC. Strikeforce's women's division has not been brought over. There's a difference between having 2 fighters, and bringing over 2 established divisions. They're not the same at all

Are you zephid? If not, get over yourself.

So you weren't quoting me and responding to me in 161, 165, and 167?

Because you were. Do I have to screen cap this for you?

This is utterly bizarre and retarded.

Are you zephid? Apparently not. zephid seems to know when I am talking to him and when I am not.
