What makes this iconic? I like Ngannou but don't see how this is iconic.

I could see like Royce Gracie's first UFC tournament win as being iconic. A sequence from one of the arguable GOATs like GSP, Silva, Jones.... I mean at one point I would easily argue and still think BJ RNCing Hughes as being more iconic than this.

This pic of Ngannou and Overeem is probably one of the coolest still frame images of a fight sequence though.

A testament to the insanity that was UFC 1, where nobody except Royce Gracie really knew what they were doing. Including the organisers and refs.

Ive never noticed Royce hands before, also indicative of the time.

it might not seem iconic seeing as Te Huna was a journeyman, but i think of all the Shogun pictures i've seen, this one encapsulates what kind of fighter Shogun is the best. i don't think it's the most iconic, but this picture definitely tells you about the icon that is Shogun.

the second yes. the first just shows hendo to be first rate scum.

I don't know how to post images, but Rampage howling with Chuck on the floor looking on while being held by the ref. The photo through the fence. That's the one for me.
