Most bizarre fight in UFC

Nick Diaz vs Koji Oishi showcased some bizarre to non-existent defence from Oishi. Why he held his hands where he did is anyone's guess.

Jason "Mayhem" Miller fought kind of like that in the 2nd round vs. Bisping, but I think it was due from exhaustion.

Actually probably the same thing (involuntary shitting)

A 70-something guy, according to those court transcripts... seems more likely he accidentally shit himself while in a random sexual position than it was some spontaneous and elaborate extreme S&M escalation randomly inserted into the middle of normal sex.
Nope. The allegation is that they didn't let her clean up and forced her to continue performing sex acts with shit all over her head and face. That's extreme sadism, and not the fun kind.

Not the UFC, but one of the most bizarre MMA fights in history was Danny Lafever vs Benji Radach. Radach was allegedly 15-1 in his mma career at the time and had 3 fights in the UFC. Lafever, who had 0 mma experience, apparently stole Radachs' girlfriend so Radach challenged him to an mma fight. The 0-0 rookie knocked the 15-1 Radach out cold in 55 seconds and rode off into the sunset with a 1-0 mma record and Radachs' girlfriend. Legend.

Emanual Yarborough vs Keith Hackney

iu

Teh commontator saw Emanual's tooth fly out of teh cage!

:meow:
Hackney got with the program in a very quick fashion, wasn't one of those early guys who was "bout his shit," until the door closed and he took a shot and was like, "Oh, fuck, this is real." He showed up and was about that life from the onset, was one of the first glimpses of a legit fighter, with a legit fighter's mentality, with which we were blessed. One of the unsung legends.

I bet Radach's ex got pregnant that night. Her shit was open for business after that lmao. I was researching this situation a while back, Lafever is now a local legend of sorts lol.

UFC 2 had no referee stoppages in the rules, the fighters would just stop when their opponent was out. The whole event was bizarre (I mean even by early-UFC standards).

Typical diaz. Gets beaten on all scorecards 45-50, doesn t do shit the whole fight except showboat, then leaves the cage swearing in ebonics.and their fans love it.

Skills wise, Diaz brothers are two of the most overrated fighters ever. Drugs have completely destroyed their brains, but they somehow remain extremely popular, which makes them marketable.

Another classic UFC fight features Wallid vs Takahashi at UFC 12. In a one-of-a-kind tactic, Takahashi pulls Wallid's cup out of place and punches him in the balls underneath it along the fence (all legal tactics at the time). Bizarre, but true classic.

Matt Brown vs. Pete Sell

It was both an early stoppage and a late stoppage.

Came to say this. Granted Quarry’s cage cutting was nonexistent as he just followed Starnes on a straight line but yeah. That elephant man punch was epic.
Starnes posted on sherdog that he had a broken foot. Many were quick to point out how well he was moving for a guy on one foot.

Also, it's called the rockhammer :)

Same with the Joe Son fight. He was caught in a sub when he started throwing his famous/infamous groin punches. He didn't have anything like modern MMA training...he was just an HVAC business owner with some Kenpo training and really good fighting/survival instincts.

Costa v Rockhold was a weird fight, i can't remember why but it was strange. There was an exchange where Costa belted Rockhold, Rockhold says "fuck you" and belts him back ha ha
