And I imagine from a secular point of view you would find it alarming that these guys do this stuff and might be a bit crazy and have an unlimited amount of resources and money- what else will they do?

You can't summon demons as they don't exist so no worries there.

And from an atheist point of view, not I'm not worried about a prank. Also they don't have unlimited resources and money. And what else they do will be to do lots of scientific research to further our knowledge of nature and the universe.
