Social More of a threat? Trans activists or Christian nationalists?

well, 100% of trans people are mentally ill.
only a smaller portion of christians are. but the number of christians is waay larger, so in actual numbers you most likely have more mentally ill christians than trans.
out of these numbers, how many can be radicalized to violence? i don't know. i guess america will find out.

So believing you are a different gender is crazier than believing a sky wizard created us and controls the world?

In the interest of equity and fairness this douche should be fine with that sentiment being turned on him and others like him and that express the same idea. Absolutely no problem with seeing this person being turned into a martyr for their cause.

Talking about mental illness while believing in gods & magic from some crazy ass 2000 year old fantasy book

I'm not religious at all. Haven't been to church other than for a funeral or wedding in 40+ years.

Trans people don't have an ideology. Trans people just want to exist in peace and have the same dignity afforded to them as others that are so often taken for granted.

What dignities are Trans people not afforded that are available to everyone else?

Yeah, people who want to ban books and essentially criminalize the existence of certain people would never do such a thing as build concentration camps.

Whose existence has been criminalized and how?

Selecting only certain books for an educational curriculum isn't the same thing as book banning.

There are many unanswered questions in the universe and about the inception of our existence and being. I don't think it's completely crazy to hold the belief of "I'm not sure if there is a God" or "Maybe there is a higher power" or even the belief of "...you know what, I believe there is something bigger than us out there...beyond our consciousness as we know it...."

we can't know with absolute certainty (yet) the answer to these questions.

what we do know, what we can objectively identify, is the biological difference between men and women, down to the very chromosomes.

what we are doing now, is legitimizing, and catering to a delusion, a down right lie.

this is no different than catering to a anorexic person who believes they are obese. a doctor wouldn't be like, "yea...you are fat. you need to lose more weight...let me prescribe you some more diuretics."

or telling an obese person that they are "beautiful and healthy just the way they are..."

What dignities are Trans people not afforded that are available to everyone else?

this is a question that is never answered because we all know the answer.

Trans folks have the very same rights as any one else in this country.

Isn’t the amount that regret like 1 percent or something? I don’t know why we are going after outliers. Seems that the vast majority are happy with their transition. What ever happened to just letting other people live the way they wish.
Lol, no. The "studies" are from advocacy groups and the ones doing the surgeries, and their follow up was 3 months after the surgery to declare "no ragrats". They don't have any large scale studies following up with castrated kids through adulthood because they just started doing it to kids a few years ago. Christ, the divorce rate is around 50%, tattoo regret is like 15%, but you didn't raise an eyebrow when someone told you almost nobody regrets mutilating their sex organs?

Indeed, what did happen to just letting other people live the way they wish? Instead of just mutilating yourself and that's that, you're trying to impose your new "identity" on everybody else and force your way into women's bathrooms, women's prisons, women's sports, force everyone play along and validate your delusions, push it on children, and now attacking strangers and shooting their kids for telling you to keep your creepy sexual delusions to yourself.

Isn't the suicide rate for trans individuals considerably higher than the general population even after transitioning?

Believing in a creator makes more sense than believing the universe created itself out of nothing.

Selecting only certain books for an educational curriculum isn't the same thing as book banning.
But book banning is what is happening. Forbidding teachers from covering certain books under penalty of law is not the same as "selecting certain books for an educational curriculum.".

And with regard to your other question, of course there are no laws that explicitly outlaw the existence of certain people; but the flotilla of laws aimed at making it virtually impossible for trans people to exist in society unless they go back in the closet and live in a way that is not authentic to them is an attempt to erase them from society. You can make whatever bad faith argument you want for that not being what's happening, but I think you know I'm right.

What laws are you talking about? Name them. I honestly don't know what laws are in effect that are aimed at making it impossible for Trans people to exist. If these laws exist, they would be reprehensible. Please inform me.

Forbidding teachers from teaching from certain books is not a ban. Those that oversee educational curriculums have a choice of what books to use and what books to exclude. Deeming a book unfit for certain grades or studies is not a ban.
