Moose: Sherdog can suck a Lollipop

Number 1 bullshit.
Sherdog rankings are stupid
They have Corey Anderson #3 at lhw but have mousasi #9 at mw
He should easily be top 2.
Hell rob is on a losing streak
Paulo same
Cannior barely started mw..dude was a hw and lhw
Bruson keeps losing
They have Marvin the dummy above him
And Strickland loooool..
They need to get off UFCs big dick

Sarcasm is the caustic use of words, often in a humorous way, to mock someone or something. Sarcasm may employ ambivalence, although it is not necessarily ironic. Most noticeable in spoken word, sarcasm is mainly distinguished by the inflection with which it is spoken or, with an undercurrent of irony, by the extreme disproportion of the comment to the situation, and is largely context-dependent.

Moose would beat Adesanya.
I hope he would. Im a huge Moose fan, but that fight very likely ends up a kick boxing match, and that would favor Izzy's point fighting style that the judges seem to love so much. I hope Dana throws the kitchen sink at him to get him back, as they are clearly the two best middle weights in the world now (below Khamzat, of course).

Mark Hunt was not training and had substance abuse problems when Mousasi beat him. Hunt had just been KO'd in 20 seconds by Manhoef the fight before.

Weidman was coming off of two straight KO losses.

Jacare had just started competing in MMA when Mousasi beat him. In the rematch, Mousasi got totally outstruck and then submitted.

Mousasi lost cleanly to Machida when Machida was still in his prime. The version that he barely beat had been KO'd by Brunson on one round.

Perfect encapsulation of how overrated his record is if you look at the context of his big name wins.

Dude you have alot excuses. Do you not think moose had problems in his life too?

I personally think Moose his win over Santos was quote impressive given that Jon Jones struggled with him at LHW. Mousasi man handled him.

Like when he fought Machida - he was coming off a 9 month layoff. He had a 9 month layoff because he had just had his second ACL operation in 14 months. But nobody talks about that.

Thiago Santos wasn't as good at MW. Was underrated but think he beneffited from the move to LHW.

He lost to Jacare in in 2014, he lost to hall in 2015. Those fights were 7, and 8 years ago. So no, not the same Gegard that lost to those fighters. I dont think that's too difficult to understand. Since the Jacare loss he is 14-2 with 9 finishes. Ad for the Shlemenko fight (5 years ago) he fought 13 of the 15 minutes with one eye completely closed. He ate a punch in the first 90 seconds that broke his orbital bone. He fought nearly the entire fight with one eye and still one.

How are we holding fights that are almost a decade old against a fighter today? People still bring of the Jardine fight (in todays scoring rounds 2 and 3 are both 10-8's and he wins that fight instead of a draw) and it was in 2011.
It's pretty simple, Mousasi was actually in his prime during those fights. Surely you're not suggesting that Mousasi is a better fighter now than when he was 29-32 years old. You can rattle numbers like "he is 14-2 with 9 finishes" since the Jacare fight, but who did he beat? How many of those guys were legitimately top 10 MWs? He's been in Bellator since 2017 and hasn't faced a single top 10 MW during that time (not his fault, of course, but still a fact).

I don't dislike Mousasi. In fact, I like his fighting style quite a bit. But it's about being realistic, which you obviously can't do since you literally have the man as your av. Mousasi is one of those guys who absolutely crushes mid-level fighters, thereby convincing people that he's a world-beater. But he doesn't actually beat elite level fighters. And he certainly doesn't beat someone like Adesanya. Mousasi has been fighting in major organizations for 15 years now and has never beaten a fighter remotely close to Adesanya's level (no, I'm not an Izzy fan). Yet we still have Mousasi acolytes claiming he'd beat Adesanya. It's delusional.

He left on a tear and has seemingly improved even since. He would easily be top 3 in the current ufc 185... easily

LOL He got a gift decision in his first Bellator fight against a declined version of Shlemenko, had his typically non-competitive decision loss against a dominant grappler in Lovato and his big impressive wins that have you people claiming that he'd beat Whittaker and Izzy were against Austin Vanderford and John Salter.

Dude you have alot excuses. Do you not think moose had problems in his life too?

It's not an excuse to point out the big names on his list were usually not in title contention, or even ranked by anybody, at the time that he beat them.

It is asinine to pretend that fighters at stay the exact same level of competitiveness for the duration of their careers without accounting for level of experience, injuries, fighting in the wrong weight class, age etc.

Fucking LOL. You guys don't stop with this shit. Santos got KO'd by David Branch at MW, but survived a slugfest with a much bigger hitter in Manuwa after he moved to 205. The guy was clearly compromising himself by fighting in the wrong weight class.

But according to you clowns, the post-knee injury Marreta, who couldn't even hurt paper-chined Johnny Walker, is the same guy who KO'd Jan and gave Jones hell.

Mousasi fandom is surreal. You people should be studied by psychologists.

Moose beat another guy nobody's ever heard of and thinks he's the best in the world

Moose would beat Adesanya.
Obviously.

Mousasi beat K-1 HW champ Kyotaro who was also top 10 HW WBO boxer
Adesanya got his ass kicked by B league MW dutch kickboxers who got destroyed by Mousasi in training (he confirmed that)

I said top 3 and at no point did I say he'd cruise through Whittaker or adesanya ya goof. Although I'd take him over Whittaker myself.

I feel I've been very realistic about him. I think he's a top 5, probably top 3 MW. I be said repeatedly he would be the favorite against any MW in the world outside of Whittaker and Adesanya. Do you disagree? We have people in this thread saying he got blown out by machida in both fights and got beat my schlemenko but you say I'm unrealistic. What have you see in his game that makes you think he's fallen so far?

If you want to say I'm unrealistic or whatever, post something other than "he's your av."
