Multiplat Monster Hunter World

Destroyed Teostra this morning, got a gem, augmented my Diablos swagaxe and then killed Kushala with an elemental discharge from it. It’s the little things.

My two favorite kills came suddenly from environmentals. Killed Vaal once when he was on the run by dropping a stalactite on his head. Then I think a Azure Rath when he broke the dam free in the forest and died from the impact hitting the bottom.

My favorite is landing a true charge on a sleeping monster for the kill, or just landing a true charge for a kill in general. That landslide thing freaked me out when it first happened lol

Damn, forgot that was out today. WIll have to make sure to log in when I get home from work and check it out.

Found a video that has all of the new Deviljho Gear. Armor seems pretty "meh", has descent skills with Handicraft and Partbreaker but their only single points, so there are probably better pieces of armor to choose when trying to mix and match.

I only really checked out the Great Sword and it doesn't seem like something I'm going to spend the time farming. It head really high raw damage, I think the final version "Anguish" had something like 1100 damage, but had -30% affinity. It has High Elderseal, but I already have the Nerg GS if I need something with elderseal. It was hard to tell the exact sharpness range since the gear has Handicraft +3 and highlight white sharpness makes it hard to see. It did look to have a pretty significant chunk of with the HC+3 thought. I'll be curious to read some of the detailed breakdowns that will be out soon of this weapon compared to other Great Swords.

Gets white sharpness so with enough attack boosts you can get the damage to over 1300, but I can get that with a food buff with my Jagras and I have 25% affinity

Got the final Jho Greatsword and charge blade. The Greatsword is definitely the hardest hitting in the game. I hit a triple charge on an awake monster for 720 damage.

IF ONLY I DIDNT HAVE TO FARM FUCKING RATHALOS RUBIES TO AUGMENT THE THING

Tempered Deviljho is fucking insane. He beat my ass with a great Jagras

Is there any reason to farm the tempered version? You simply looking for parts for the new armor and weapons. Fighting the regular one is good enough. I scored 4 gems already (2 with captures). They seem to be dropping much more easily than the other ones ( like rathole.. cunt)...

Saw him use Odogaron as a chew toy earlier, he even picks up bazel

Man he held onto odagaron for a solid minute in one game I played. Thought he single handedly kill that fucker. He owns practically everyone else...

He has an insane drop rate for streamstones. So if you still have augmenting to do, you best git gud. Otherwise no. I made his CB and GS and I’m done. The negative affinity makes the overall damage not as good as the Jagras, even tho the big dick AR number is nice to see.

I’ve killed countless Rathalos and no ruby. I’m just gonna have to do weekly bounties for them I suppose.

If anyone is trying to farm tempered elder dragon tracks, there is currently an easy Special Event Quest for collecting 10 Blue Beryl's in the Elder's Recess that has a crazy amount of tracks. I ran it 5 times and the tracks didn't seem to be random spawns at all, every track was present for each run. I found 25 tracks for between Nerg/Tes/Daora looking around in all of their arenas, and with the Scholar skill I was getting 2~3 investigations each run which lasts about 10min.

Try tempered Jho yet? He’s apparently the hardest monster ever created. We’re talking the Orphan of Kos of the monster hunter universe.

I haven't done any of the Deviljho stuff yet, been farming tempered elder dragons trying to at augment and max out my armor. Just finished up maxing a few armor sets out so, Deviljho is next. I just happened to run the event quest this morning and found out how easy it was to collect tempered elder tracks, so spent more time than I should have gathering quests, but now I'm loaded to the gills with tempered quests.
