Monkeys scream out in pain inside German Lab.

Hurry and vote democrats guys, that will save the monkeys in Germany

No, but it will save (or rather lessen the suffering of) rhesus monkeys, pigs, cows, chickens, and other animals in the United States if people stop supporting a party that has consistent blockaded efforts to pass legislation concerning their welfare.

Poor people, or if you're going to test it on animals, at least make them pit bulls.

In fairness it can be considered a slight ethical improvement compared to what the Germans were using as test subjects a few decades ago.
I hear the US has those types of camps out their borders nowadays. Unbelievable!!

What do you purpose we test new drugs and medical treatments on?

FYI, there is thriving industrial torture of dogs occuring right now in America.

But in the U.S. itself, corporations and academic institutions exploit dogs (as well as cats and rabbits) for excruciating experiments that are completely trivial, even useless, and are just as abusive as the practices in Asia that have produced so much moral indignation in the West. These dogs are frequently bred into life for the sole purpose of being laboratory objects, and spend their entire, often short, existence locked in a small cage, subjected to procedures that impose extreme pain and suffering.

Dogs bred into life for use or sale as experimentation objects have all the same emotional complexities, sensations of suffering and deprivation, and inbred need for human companionship as household dogs which are loved as pets and members of the family. Yet the legalized cruelty and torture to which man’s best friend is subjected for profit in the U.S. is virtually limitless.

In fact, the majority of dogs bred and sold for experimentation are beagles, which are considered ideal because of their docile, human-trusting personality. In other words, the very traits that have made them such loving and loyal companions to humans are the ones that humans exploit to best manipulate them in labs.

But sure, let's pretend our hands are clean and crack jokes about Nazis.

I had to go to a site where they breed monkeys for testing for work. It was the most depressing week of my life. These monkeys are never outside of a cage a lot of times completely alone their entire lives. You can see they are clearly depressed as fuck. Their whole life is be in a cage your whole life, get tested on, and then euthanized after the testing is done.

I don't want to hear that. They should test stuff on people who have been sentenced to death with their permission, and with decent compensation for their next of kin.

Their was fairly recently sucha program in Alcatraz the famois Whitey Bulgar was sentenced to something rediculous like 25 years in Alcatraz in his youth. Daily abuse he was offered a reduced sentence if he took part in a drug trial.

Little did he know it was LSD at a huge crazy dose so bad it left him with PTSD and unable to sleep. This turned him into a criminal genius and psycho.

Ugh. So you think YOUR job sucks? How the fuck do these guys get out of bed every morning and go do that all day?

The thought of cats, dogs, and rabbits being tortured makes me sick. There needs to be an end to this. On the bright side, humanity has been moving in the direction of greater compassion for animals.

Agreed. Though I can't imagine there are many convicted felons willing to be tortured...

Maybe as an alternative to the death penalty. If they die, their kin gets some reasonable, but not crazy, compensation. If they live after some important research perhaps they get a chance to get out one day or get to stay someplace better.

Actually, we probably shouldn't test on humans. Humans are more important than animals. It's just that those set to be put to death are going to die anyway, and I think I may want the chance to leave some extra money behind or contribute something positive to humanity. Idk.
