Paramount Sets February 12, 2016 Release for ZOOLANDER 2

Zoolander-2-Valentino-031015-Dragonlord.jpg

Obviously anyone in the audience of Valentino's Paris Fashion Week show at the Jardines Des Tuileries on Tuesday was into the storied label's gorgeous gowns. But the show's real treat came by way of Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson -- aka Hansel and Zoolander -- who owned the runway in a mix of custom suiting and pieces from Valentino's fall 2015 collection.

In front of a front row that included Kate Mara, Cara Delevingne and Nicky Hilton, the duo's runway strut officially signals that the sequel to their ridiculous if not beloved 2001 fashion world film is a go, with previous reports stating that Penelope Cruz has already signed on to co-star in the Justin Theroux-penned script. In November, THR reported that the Stiller-directed sequel would begin filming in Rome in February.

Paramount just released a statement saying that the film will hit theaters on February 12, 2016 so fans have plenty of time to dust off their best blue steel. Details on Zoolander 2 are scarce. Filming will be taking place in Rome, Christine Taylor and Will Ferrell are returning.

2nd Full-Length Trailer for Pixar's INSIDE OUT Has All the Feels

Inside-Out-Puppy-Bowl-Trailer-Dragonlord.jpg

Anyone disappointed by Pixar’s recent focus on sequels should be looking forward to Inside Out, which features what might be the studio’s most original premise yet. Directed by Pete Docter, the new adventure follows the five emotions residing within the mind of an 11-year-old girl named Riley.

They are Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), and Fear (Bill Hader), and they’re currently guiding her through a rough move to San Francisco. But when things go wrong at HQ, the emotions embark on a journey to set things right.

While we’ve known about the premise of Inside Out for months, this trailer finally reveals some new information about the plotline. The various emotions get a bit more shading, new settings are revealed, and the tone is a bit more bittersweet than we’ve seen in other promos. You might want to bring tissues to this picture if you’re a crier.

This looks absolutely wonderful, imaginative with Pixar at its best. The film opens in 3D on June 19th, and also features Diane Lane and Kyle MacLachlan as the voices of Riley’s parents.

The recent tron was a sequel to the first one, it sort of played off it a bit and still had Bridges and shit. Was kind of cool actually, least I thought.

Tim Burton to Direct Live-Action DUMBO Movie for Disney

Tim-Burton-Dumbo-031015-Dragonlord.jpg

Tim Burton will direct Disney's live-action Dumbo. In the latest move by the studio as it continues to make live-action versions of its animated classics, Disney has tapped the Big Eyes helmer to take on the tale of a baby circus elephant who is made fun of for his large ears, based on the iconic 1941 film.

Transformers franchise writer Ehren Kruger will pen the script. The film will use a mix of CGI and live action to bring the classic elephant story to life and will add a unique family story that parallels Dumbo's journey. Justin Springer, who worked on Tron: Legacy as well as Oblivion, is producing with Kruger.

Disney's latest live-action makeover, Cinderella, starring Lily James, opens this weekend. The studio has had strong success with its live-action versions of classic tales, including Burton's reimagined Alice in Wonderland, which grossed a staggering $1.02 billion. And after Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie as the iconic villainess, opened in May 2014, it went on to earn a stunning $758.4 million worldwide.

STILL ALICE Writer and Director Richard Glatzer Dies at 63

Richard-Glatzer-Wash-Westmoreland-Dragonlord.jpg

Richard Glatzer (above picture, left), who courageously battled the debilitating effects of ALS as he wrote and directed the Julianne Moore film Still Alice with his husband, Wash Westmoreland, has died. He was 63.

Glatzer died Tuesday in Los Angeles, Ekta Farrar of the publicity firm of Block Korenbrot confirmed. His death came less than three weeks after Moore won the best actress Oscar on Feb. 22 for her performance as a woman with early-onset Alzheimer’s who comes unraveled.

Glatzer was taken by ambulance to an L.A. hospital two days before the ceremony with severe respiratory problems, and he and Westmoreland planned to watch the Oscar telecast from the hospital.

Glatzer and Westmoreland adapted Still Alice from a novel by Lisa Genova. Shortly before they took on the project in 2011, Glatzer was diagnosed with ALS, and his condition rapidly deteriorated. Still, he never missed a day of filming. At the end, Glatzer was able to “speak” only by tapping the big toe of his right foot on a specially designed iPad.

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY Stars Seek Huge Raises for Sequels

Dakota-Johnson-Jamie-Dornan-Premiere-Dragonlord.jpg

With Fifty Shades of Grey looking to top out at more than $550 million worldwide, it should come as no surprise that stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan will be seeking a big payday for a second outing in the red room of pain.

Sources say the pair received $250,000 each (plus tiered box-office bonuses) to star in Universal's erotic hit based on the first of EL James' trilogy of novels, and both signed three-picture deals. But like most stars of franchise films, they will try to renegotiate for seven-figure raises for Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed. Neither Johnson, 25, nor Dornan, 32, received any backend compensation on the first film, according to sources.

Though the two leads probably are six months away from any renegotiations, insiders say they'll take a page from the Twilight stars and Jennifer Lawrence's Hunger Games deal as a jumping-off point (Lawrence landed a $10 million payday for Catching Fire — a significant bump from her $500,000 Hunger Games salary).

The studio already must find a new director (Sam Taylor-Johnson is not expected to return after clashing with James) and writer (original scribe Kelly Marcel will not return). Meanwhile, James has demanded more control over the script of the sequels. Because there is no script or director yet, Johnson and Dornan have been told to plan on an early 2016 shoot for a 2017 release, possibly around Valentine's Day again.
