MMA wrestlers

koscheck, i think is the best overall

while kos is an amazing wrestler there are olympic medalists that have competed in MMA so I don't think its fair to say Kos is the best

even Coleman should be put above Kos. Coleman placed 7th in the Olympics (of course kos is a better wrestler now than coleman is now, but im comparing them in their respective primes)

Mark Munoz (Oklahoma State Cowboys), 2001 NCAA Division I champ will supposedly enter the MMA fray.

They are better at freestyle or greco not folkstyle.

Here's two more high profile, and highly decorated collegiate wrestlers that are coming into MMA ... via Xtreme Couture, right here in Vegas :)

Jake Rosholt and Johny Hendricks

These guys are elite wrestlers for several different reasons... so, IMHO there's no doubt that they will also excel at a sport like MMA that is most definitely connected to the years of training/competing they've done in wrestling.

u dont think Kevin Jackson is better that kos in folkstyle?

Well if you go by credentials, Koscheck had a better folkstyle career. Obviously Jackson is a much more accomplished freestyle wrestler and I think is defintley better, I was just making a point that people tend to compare greco guys to folkstyle guys when they shouldnt. Lindland would obviously defeat Koscheck in greco, but conversely Koscheck would easily beat Lindland in a folkstyle match.

Eric Bradley was the boxing champ, he was also a 2x all american and is now training with Couture.

i hear you and completely agree. Thats not to say that lindland isnt a good folkstyle/freestyle wrestler...I would think he is pretty damn good at folk

i saw his debut i tihnk and he looked pretty good. I cant wait to see what he will be able to do in a few years...same goes for all of the All Americans coming over to mma now

Right im not trying to discredit Lindland or any other guy I was just making a point that they are uniquely different styles and be equally compared.
