It's not about being the only game in town, it's about being the biggest. MMA isn't there and it won't be in 10 years.that's because Boxing was the only game in town

26+ mil in Russia alone watched Khabib vs Dustin for FREE. LOL.19 milion watched that fight illegaly and it trended muuuch higher than ufc.
fury vs wilder was much bigger than you realize. canelo pulls bigger numbers in the states then any MMA fighter not named Conor.
at least you are a much better troll than me haha.
Every televised, big franchise sports share the same constant truth, "how do we make more money out of this without sacrificing the integrity of the game?". MMA is constantly evolving, and rules will be changed to make it more exciting to the viewers. It's not in stasis.

100% is a stretch but it's close. Too bad most mma paydays are still centuries behind
I guess you've never heard of the U.K?Boxing was never really that big of a sport anywhere in the world other than USA, Ex Soviet Union and some south American countries.

Damn, that's a pretty big discrepancy. I hope Ruiz knocks his ass out again!Around $9 Million
Excuse me, Ruiz gets $13 Million
Doesnt matter whos making more money. MMA is more popular than boxing and its still growing more popular than boxing. MMA fighters were making nothing 15 years ago compared to today.20-30 Million People watched (regular Basis) the Kameda Brothers .-.. its not that impressive.
I bet they didnt even make that much money, cuz russian tv deals are one of the worst.
Well AJ is still the big draw. It's unfortunate for Ruiz that he has to knock him out twice to get paid well but if he does his next fight will be the big paydayDamn, that's a pretty big discrepancy. I hope Ruiz knocks his ass out again!
Yeah that does suck for Ruiz. Can you imagine how much money Joshua vs Wilder would have done had their promoters just signed the papers?Well AJ is still the big draw. It's unfortunate for Ruiz that he has to knock him out twice to get paid well but if he does his next fight will be the big payday
Joshua vs Ruiz 1 did 400k ppv. Lmfao.Meanwhile Joshua vs Ruiz II in Saudi will sell over a million PPV buys in the UK alone this weekend.
Yeah right. Boxing's sad decline since the early 2000s has been remarkable. In large part due to amateur boxing being ruined by that horrible point system and corrupt judges. Like those that gave Anthony Joshua his gold.
Fury, Wilder and Joshua would be lucky to be top 10 fighters in the HW division about 15 years ago.
In the UK? Makes sense as it was on at 4AM and was expected to be a knock over job. The rematch will be on at 9pm UK time and has a lot more interest.Joshua vs Ruiz 1 did 400k ppv. Lmfao.
Yes I can imagine, Wilder was offered $100 Million for 3 fights for DAZN Breazeale and 2 with AJYeah that does suck for Ruiz. Can you imagine how much money Joshua vs Wilder would have done had their promoters just signed the papers?
Greg Hardy says hello.I wonder if UFC would be bigger if they started feeding their top fighters bums in order to build them up like they do in boxing
