he's said this several times,he also said the same about Conor on JRE
 
Also concerning interviewing Fedor,it was kind of a party atmosphere. It was after a m-1 press conference,and they were serving skrewdrivers at the bar. So some of the ints we got,with Trigg,and Mauro were really casual. With Fedor I sat down at a table with him,and Fedor was also drinking a Skrewdriver,and he had a female translator with him,she was kinda hot,not like the one he has been using alot in strikeforce etc. Anyway yeah i was nervous as hell,and it was more unnerving cos i had to to talk to him through her,which threw me off. It was a 5 minute interview,and its not on the site anymore,but i have the audio saved,so maybe ill transcribe it and post it here. Fedor had an aura,I wont say it was orange,but I seent it. A cool customer. I feel blessed to have this 5 mins with a guy i looked up to so much.
 
Not sure if this qualifies for forgotten story, but I was just wondering "Where the hell did Junie Browning go?" after that Mir/Nogueria season of TUF where they hyped him as a bad boy.
For those who didn't watch, he commanded a lot of TV time that season due to his wild behavior/short fuse and willingness to say anything. This led to a hype bubble that he kept popping with losses, refusal to take accountability for his losses ("lower weightclass here I come").
I expected to read he was inactive but surprisingly his Wikipedia page led me to his most recent fight; a TKO after 4 years on the shelf.

He looks like he's been drinking (soft around the middle) but he showed some ring IQ; not sure the quality of opponent but still... he didn't waste time.

Will Junie ever make it back to the UFC? I would have said never, but I didn't expect to see that he fought again. I assumed he washed out.
He seemed to just crumble under the weight of the image the UFC built for him. His attitude softened noticeably once out of the house. I came to think his TUF season was basically a case study of someone with emotional problems allowed unlimited alcohol and deprived of outside stimulation

In the current WWE/WME era, now seems more likely than ever for him to come back. If he could reapply himself as an adult, picked up his old gimmick... Could he be the Colby of lighter weight classes? I doubt his skills make an impact but could see WME getting behind him.

Theres really no excuse for Junie's antics on that show,that guy was a complete mess,and embarassing.
 
Oh yeah and Gary Millen was at that m-1 thing and we all made it a point to ignore his ass. ahahaha
 
I interviewed Randy Couture when he was married to Kim. It was at an IFL event,but he just happened to be there,so of course we went over and tried to get a word.So when i interviewed him,she was there,and of course she chimed in on the interview hahah. Anyway she was cool. Its kinda weird to remember how she actually fought in MMA with no prior martial arts background,and at some point got her jaw broken.

Its interesting to note how people come in and out of MMA.
 
WOW she kept fighting long after they divorced,and kept racking up losses. Randy kept training her that whole time it seems!

He agreed to fight Smashin´Machine in Pride, but then got sick (flu)...who knows...
