MMA Beginner

Interested in training for MMA fighting, not for a career, but for the sport of it. Where should I get started in terms of learning/conditioning/sparring/etc. Had 6 months of martial arts in college and excelled at it. In shape farm boy @ 180lbs. Never been in a fight in my life...

I live in NorthEast Wisconsin. Appleton/Oshkosh area. Get to Madison often, not so much Milwaukee.
