MLB MLB 2025 Season Thread: When half your roster needs a translator

Realmuto was even pointing at first base. <lmao>

F'ing Roki 9 up 9 down. They showed him sitting in the dugout refusing to take off his mitt, so I guess they put him back in for a 3rd inning.

No big deal just the Dodgers proving that they were sleep walking through the regular season at times and can turn it up when it matters.
Dodgers didn't really turn up shit except a re-educated Roki. Dodgers were gifted a walk with bases loaded and the error by pitcher on comebacker. Too many Dodgers hitters are taking first pitch strikes down the middle, then striking out looking or swinging at out of the zone pitches.

Damn, Brew Crew looking vulnerable. Cubbies might pull it off.

Didn't see that coming or the Tigers making a run this year with the way they faded in the second half of the season, but I wouldn't bet against the Cubs and how can you bet against the Tigers with Skubal on the mound? Good playoff baseball.

Dodgers have been playing like ass for at least half the season that I didn’t actually think they would make it this far. Lmao. May actually pull this off again.
They'll stumble their way into another World Series. Hard not to when Loss Angeles can just buy up all the talent on the market.

Mets, Yankees, Phillies and Madres all "buy" up their talent. How they doing?

Jays look like the only team with real chemistry and momentum right now.

That can change in a heartbeat in the playoffs of course, but they look tight. No ego, all heart.

I'm thinking we're in for an LA/Toronto showdown for the WS.

Didn’t think there was anyway Tigers got out of that.
