MLB MLB 2025 Season Thread: When half your roster needs a translator

It really had nothing to do with the infield fly rule. He was dancing around 20' off base, no matter what happened he can't just fucking stand there. Infield fly isn't a time out. I don't understand what he thought was happening.

Before watching, my first thought was we need to cool it with the “catch of the year candidate” shit every time an outfielder jumps 6” to make a catch. But that was pretty impressive to hold onto that ball.

Looks like the Marlins ended the Giants season yet again.

So much hype about the trade deadline, then I see a bunch of trades for some shitty guys with shit batting avg, lack of power. The team couldn't promote some minor leaguer with that same shitty impact?

Lol I was going to say... Trade deadline was a can exchange

Miller AND Sears to SD for players and prospects.

The Las Vegas Athletics.

Love the team, hate Fisher.

"Sell the Team" t shirts and signs behind the pregame show was rich.

So no one acquired Jarren Duran?

Is Alex Call gonna immediately replace Conforto?

Kept hearing Leo De Vries is elite prospect, but his stats are kinda shit. He's young, but so what. Ethan Salas was young and had big hype too. What's he done at higher levels? Seems like guys who dominate at AAA but suck in big leagues are dime a dozen.

Pirates damn near traded their whole MLB team for single A prospects. Bring back the Expos ASAP.

17-16? really.
with 40 hits between them.

score looks more like a Thursday Night FB game tbh

Colorado sports loyalty is out of this fucking world.

Possible worst team in baseball history, easily the worst in Rockies history, give up 9 runs in the first inning, trailing a shit load the entire game, and in the end, it's a packed house, nobody left early, they all stayed to watch their pile of shit team walk off the other pile of shit team and it sounds like it's a playoff game.

So who is going to retire first?

Kershaw scherzer or Verlander?

Portland Pickles vs Savannah Bananas finna be the hottest feud since Magnum vs Nikita back in '86!
