I dont think there are many real reasons. He’s been a little bit opposing to Trump on certain headlines but in terms of being a successful majority leader for the senate, he did that for the GOP. They might want the Senate more like the House which says a lot in the past year.

When the IRS, FBI, CIA, and DOJ are attacking you.... you're not establishment. You're not in line with the bureaucratic class that rules this country.
