Mir can win with a blitz or a sub. Mir dies in the clinch though.
Reem brutalizes Mir.
I see it. Neither fighter can afford to lose, neither fighter has a trustworthy chin, Frank is a smarter fighter, and Overeem tends to fade after the opening minutes.
Mir wins a boring decision. Overeem leaves on his own (before the cut) to fight for more money and more glory overseas.
That should be the boilerplate analysis of the scenario. Of course, "anything can happen," and it often does.
Pressing him against the cage, not allowing power shots, staying in dominant positions where he can't get seriously damaged, why not?
No I don't. This will end in dramatic fashion one way or another.
You may think I'm absolutely crazy but I'm going with Frank Mir by KO/TKO in Round one or two.
