What about Volk Han? Wasn't he top 10 at the time?

Rankings don't mean much. On average, Mir has faced better competition than Big Nog. The fact that Heath Herring and Valentin Overeem counted as top 10 wins back in the day just shows how shallow the talent pool was back then (no disrespect to either fighter). Also, Cro Cop counting as a top 10 win for Nog, but not for Mir is lame.

Yeah and Mir finished big nog.... twice

Nogueira had a mythical career no question about that.

Yet another n00b-tell...

Noobs to combats sports have trouble with this:
The concept of styles make fights, and the idea that one fighter may simply have another guy's number. And as such, simply head-to-head results may not give you the entire picture of who indeed is the better fighter.

Lol, TS what the fuck is up with your anti Mir crusade?

Better career- Nog
Who i back in a fight if they fought again- Mir

There's only one way you can find out who is better. Have both men fight eachother.

They fought twice and Mir won twice. He's better, regardless of Nog's resume.

Minotauro's Wins vs Top 10 HW's+

Top 10 wins NOT FRAANK MIR!!

Your favorite fighter lost to an inexperienced bum? Twice? Lost his arm? Lost his ability to be conscious? Maaaaaannn....

THAT SUCKS. :icon_chee

"Eddie - what have you done for me LATELY, Eddie?? Goonie goo-goo!"

...and Mir is 2-0 against Nog. Nog may have the better resume but, he got handled by Mir twice, 2 times, 2 chainz, dos, 1+1, 2x, peace times, and deux.

You keep making these Nog/Mir threads repeating the same thing, the shit happened years ago let it go bro.

Nog is top 5 Hw even after Cain and JDS take their enevatable top 5 places. Mir is not and never will be. Get over it Mir fans.

Not true. If USA beat Spain in football are they better? Hell no. Spain won the World Cup and beat more of the other teams. Same applies here. Mir beat Nog but Nog beat far more names and had a better career. He's better. Same rules apply to every sport. It's not just about head to head and never has been
