Beginning of his career? He was 4-0 the first time. Then won 18 fights in a row (22-1) before the rematch in UFC. Nog was past his prime when he fought Mir. You're right it is totally different. Hughes lost to Hallman in his physical prime and after an 18 fight win streak. Nog was past his best. Unbelievable.
