I have a lot of friends and acquaintances in the direct path of this working at zoos down there. Many are staying at the zoos overnight in shelters so they don’t have to attempt to commute in the morning.

Those are not tornadoes. These apps are dumb, TBH. All that is really happening is that the storm is rotating as Hurricanes do.

Yes, the point is that those symbols really don't mean there's a tornado but there is rotation. Some of those spots may end up being tornados but most of the time they are not. All they indicate is rotation and rotation alone is not a tornado.

A lot of them are verified though. Lots of damage already just due to tornadoes.
