Mike Tyson: Taking steroids is attempted murder

I think attempted murder is a stretch , but maybe assault . Your getting an unfair artificial advantage in an attempt to hurt someone

I'll take Pride for a thousand Alex!
naw they still had to be a little sneaky about it.....im talking not only condoned but encouraged with rankings for how much of what each guy is taking...no pulsing or worrying about having to get away with it, im talking "Today in the SFC (Steroid fighting championship) Richard O' Richard shot 80 straight ounces of horse testosterone into his system reaching #6 in the testosterone rankings, the general opinion among his coaches is he could be top 5 if he stopped giving a shit about living past 50"

IF RJJ had boxed in the days before televised fights, you would not believe the shit he did,if you just read about it. You'd think they were lying.

The guy would have been blindingly fast without the juice, I’m sure, but on the program he was completely off the charts.

sure Mike....

Pride had everything but the ranking system for PED users. It was a very 'PED Friendly'
organization.

I really need to know what exactly about it isn't criminal, since you don't seem to have any reasons other than mockery. Why? Because it's mutual combat?
That's mutual based on agreed upon terms, and someone is purposefully going outside those agreed upon terms (cheating) in order to increase their chances at the cost of their opponents health.

The fact that they agreed to fight is irrelevant once the rules are broken. Two people agree to fight in the street, making it 'legal.' Then go ahead and pick whatever metaphor you think works. One person then - uses brass knuckles? Picks a branch up and swings it? Starts punching the opponent on the ground, even though they agreed to stand? Choose anything. It's now illegal. Charges can and should be pressed. Not "attempted murder"? Fine. Some degree of assault? Endangerment? Whatever it is, you have to concede it's criminal, because any other opinion is idiotic

There is absolutely no excuse or reason that agreeing to fight on specific terms means fuck all when those terms are broken is such premeditated and purposeful ways

No. That was easy. Any other questions?
It's a lot more complicated and morally ambiguous than you give it credit for. It's nothing like agreeing to a fight on the street, and then pulling out a baseball bat and bludgeoning someone with it lol.

Imagine if I snapped my fingers and put every fighter who has taken a PED in prison right now... doesn't that seem kind of insane to you? Fighting is a sport, yes people do damage to each other, but it's a sport that deals with the same PED problems every other sport deals with, do you think every NFL player who took a PED and tackled someone should be in prison also?

If guys were actually being put in prison I bet guys like you would be complaining about it being too harsh lol, Anderson would be in prison right now, Vitor would be in prison, Diaz would be in prison, so many law-abiding, good people would be in prison because they took PEDs while the majority of their opponents were also on PEDs... it's so overboard, and harsh. Being suspended from being able to make money for years is punishment enough, look at the UFC, I think USADA has actually been pretty effective at cleaning up the sport, I think a lot less guys are on PEDs than there were 10 years ago

I get it. It's like using a lethal weapon. That's why some of us Sherdoggers have to register our hands as deadly weapons with the police department, because of our sick ninjitsu skills. This is also why the deadly moves are banned in UFC.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it attempted murder but to my mind it's dangerous and vile.

Juice up to throw a shotput? Idgf.

Juice up to inflict CTE? Yeah, no.

Well,if it happened like it's supposed to,where guys get a 2 yr ban, thats a huge blow. The problem is when they try to protect certain guys like Jones and Lesnar, but the rules are different for everyone else.
Ya I agree. The tainted supplement excuse is bullshit too. Fighters know not to take random supplements that aren't tested for banned substances yet again and again they keep failing tests because of them.
