Mike Tyson: Taking steroids is attempted murder

He fought Roy Jones Jr on PEDs....
Maybe he’s not talking about doctor prescribed test to normal levels and he’s talking about abusing. That’s the only thing that would make sense but it’s Tyson so it doesn’t always make sense.

No it's not....Steroids aren't that OP that they are gonna make you hit 100x harder or some crap.

inb4 "but but Bisping's eye", it had nothing to do with Vitor being roided.....If he was natty and landed the same kick on bisping, he is losing his eye regardless.

It had more to do with the placement of the kick and badluck.
Belfort looked TRT'd that entire fight.

To be fair anytime you hit someone in the head it is attempted murder

But the statistics and cause and effect do. How many times has taking steroids resulted in someone else's death? How many times have steroids been taken?
He said attempted murder,not murder.
I dont take what he said literally, but I do see some truth to the statement. Its kind of a different thing when you are taking a banned substance to help you beat the shit out of someone. This should never be forgotten or swept under the rug.

That's why there should be criminal charges and prison time for it. Fighters are happy to cheat because the repercussions are so minimal. There should definitely be a lifetime ban for steroids but I think criminal charges are important too because cheating in high level sports is stealing from your opponents, from the fans who placed bets and in combat sports it's increasing the likelihood that you'll give your opponent brain damage or kill them.
That's absolutely insane lol. Good thing nobody who has any actual power thinks like you.

I doubt he is just taking a TRT dose and looking like that... he just said something crazy in the moment

I think it's insane not to have this opinion. The current sanctions are way too lenient for an act that increases the chances of killing someone or leaving them with severe brain damage in an already dangerous sport.

For something to be an attempt, the result has to be likely...if I spit on someone hoping to kill them, it doesn't make it an attempt. It makes me an idiot...like Tyson with this argument.

I'm not condoning nor rejecting anything here. I'm addressing the point he made. It's misguided to classify it as attempted murder.

What a strange person

anyway I dont think he raped the woman, thats why he still denies it. This guy has already did his time, and talks about horrible things that he has done. He would be the kinda dude that would own up to it. He once said " I wish i really had raped the bitch"

Who says shit like that??? It makes me believe him.

Because you're gullible and lacking in intelligence. He's clearly very honest about some things and very dishonest about other things. The fact of the matter is, the guy knows about surviving in this world and he still has a brand that he would not be able to have if he admitted to rape. It's not that simple. This isn't some regular forgivable crime. He still can't travel to half of the world because of that conviction. It's not some cheeky shit you did wrong in your past.

"He called me a rapist and a recluse. I'm not a recluse"
"And maybe I did...whatever" -Talking about the rape case.
And yeah, that quote you mentioned is another form of admission.

Let me ask your stupid ass, why is it so far fetched for the most devastating puncher in the world who admitted to punching his ex wife in the face and assaulted elderly women...to be perfectly capable of raping? Knowing his behavior it's not hard to imagine him refusing to stop when he's got her pinned down. Maybe you wish you were her? I don't know.

Because he probably would just admit to it?

Because he probably would just admit to it?

Nope. Because admitting to all the other shit is not the same as admitting to the rape. The latter ruins him and doesn't allow him to have a brand.

Same with the PED's. If he's open about that then his legacy is gone too. Petty dummies like you would drop him instantly from your fandom.

I don't label him as a rapist because I wasn't there, and I would rather assume someone is innocent than guilty, but it would make sense for him to be honest about everything other than the rape. Rape is something most people consider unforgivable, everything else he admitted to isn't close to that.

Well,if it happened like it's supposed to,where guys get a 2 yr ban, thats a huge blow. The problem is when they try to protect certain guys like Jones and Lesnar, but the rules are different for everyone else.

Isn't that what combat sports is about? You are trying to kill another person, as long as the referee doesn't stop you?

I see where your coming from. It's just my own feeling on it.
