Stylistically, I don't think he presents challenges that are that dissimilar from what Benavidez or Dodson or Reis or Cejudo or Borg brought to the table. To beat Demetrious, you have to have more than hype. You have to bring in things he hasn't dealt with several times already. That's why Elliot gave him more problems than Demetrious' much-more-highly-favored-than-Elliot-was opponents did in recent years. He brought something different.
It's like if Dustin Ortiz won 5 more fights, got a lot of hype because of it and you said he presents a new type of challenge that Demetrious hasn't seen before.
Maybe his style's changed since I last saw him fight, though.
