lost in quarterfinals to #1 seed Pantoja by very uneventful competitive decision.

Post-TUF he lost to top 5 Japanese flyweight Tatsmumitsu Wada, which I assumed would kill Kai's career. Apparently not. Wada just lost to Reece Mclaren at ONE, with Mclaren dropping down in weight.
