Flying in specialized coaches and training partners and shit adds up real fast. Food is what she probably remembers most obviously and stuff she buys with a credit card like a heart monitor but the real big expenses are probably done in bank transfers and shit and people tend to gloss over just how much they spend that way especially when you do it 10-15x over the course of a few months.

EDIT: On another note fighters getting mismanaged is a real thing. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a little of Column A and a little of Column B. She may very well be exaggerating but there's usually truth to this. Someone's probably stealing from her and she isn't smart enough to realize that. Yet.

Respect to Miesha for getting back in the octagon but any MMA fighter who is not a champion (like Miesha is not) making six figures for a single fight should be thankful for the opportunity and leave it at that.

The fact she said in that interview "were not making a killing" shows how out of touch with reality she is. Bellator pays as little as $250 to show for fighters on their prelims and somehow those folks make it work.

Also, if Miesha is being paid nearly six figures to show while fighting in the WBW (135) division she needs to stop "investing in herself" because that contract is not getting renewed and much like Overeem/JDS she may be cut after a loss.
