For anyone with the slightest interest in rhetoric as a tool, it's pretty disgusting what he's out there doing. When Lebron said that he's using sports to divide the nation, this is what he's referring to.

There's absolutely no relationships between NFL and ESPN broadcasting decisions and his job as President. But he uses it to widen a wedge between 2 factions so that he can soak up the chants and cheers from people too stupid to wonder why the President of the United States is exhorting them to boo a tv station's broadcast decisions related to a meaningless sporting event.

I get that. Of course it was to influence the election. Has anyone who’s known about this for the last several months thought otherwise? Like he paid her just to help her pay her bills or something? Just curious how the story we’ve known about for months is now a crime. Seems like only thing that changed is Cohen signed a deal to say the obvious.
