Mid-air Collusion (Mueller Thread v. 19)

I don't think Trump is a Russia plant.

Trump is an idiot well known to Putin from past interactions personally and with other Russians Trump rubbed elbows with.

Putin knew he was a chaotic idiot with an unrelentingly large ego that would do more harm than good and weaken us, that's why he did was he could to support him.

The whole Trump Tower thing reeks of incompetence, not cloak and dagger scheming. They literally didn't see anything wrong with accepting intelligence from a foreign government. They're that dim in Trump's inner circle. Sheltered rich boys with no real life experience with real power.

I don't think incompetence is an excuse however.

Good post, will edit mine.

Mueller won't indict Trump on even one charge. Agree?
Unfair wording, Mueller can't indict Trump because Trump is President. You should change that to "Mueller won't recommend impeaching Trump for any charge"

You say that like we don't have 19 threads of your denials and obfuscations.

<Dany07>

You literally don’t. I pop into these threads to make fun of you folks. It’s like you never get tired of falling for the next headline.

Again, feel free to quote me if you’re not a lying quiff.

And the brain-dead continue to vote against their own interests...

<TheDonald>

They wont ever stop voting against their interests. Republicans are more often than not 2 or 3 issue voters because their brains won't let them consider more than that. It goes, god, abortion, guns and everything else doesn't really matter and the everything else is the stuff that affects them the most

What a mastermind plan from Putin, nobody saw that coming.

Also he respect so much obama strengh that took Crimea and got head to head in the Syria situation, disrespect him and America in front of world, and basically legitimize every action of Bashar al Assad.
Obama, what a amazing and strong leader that Putin certainly was afraid off.<36>

P.S: Kim also laugh.

You need a better Russian to English translator dude.

Dershowitz: Rudy Giuliani may have used an inartful phrase when he said, "truth isn't truth", but he was absolutely right. Say the president were to be asked the question, "did you discuss Flynn with Comey?" and he says "No." Let's assume that's truthful for a moment. But Comey says "Yes". Or let's assume the president is asked, "Did you know about the meeting in Trump Tower" and he says "no" but then Cohen says "yes". So you have two statements that can't both be true. But we're human beings. We're not sure we can determine what's true or not. The prosecutors may decide that the truth is with Cohen and Comey and not with the president. That's why we defense lawyers call that a "perjury trap." You never allow your client to answer a question truthfully if someone else will answer the question differently and that person may be believed over the truthful answer. That's what Rudy was trying to say. Inartfully put, but the point of it was something every defense attorney would agree to.

@vengeful

I cant decide until @AlanDershowitz tells me how to think.

Just remember, when evaluating these things, that the truth is subjective and what's fact for you may not be for others.

And of course, that moral correctness is a malleable thing, to be ignored as the situation requires. A President doesn't need to behave in a manner seemly for the high office he holds.
That's the new standard we have.

Dershowitz is walking a thin line on this one and you pick up on it because you want it to be true BUT no prosecutor will charge the President with perjury on a he said she said condition. They would need substantiating facts or statements of others to move forward with perjury. That is why Giuliani statement is horse shit because even he knows this but yet he goes on TV to muddy the waters.

Meeting with a citizen of a country, not a person representing the government, to potentially get dirt on an opponent, is not at all a crime. It is opposition research.

You should probably watch less msnbc.

Good morning

Emin just called and asked me to contact you with something very interesting.

The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.

This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump - helped along by Aras and Emin.

Yep. I think his whole job is to confuse the issues

I’d rather be George P doing 6 months than any of the people who’ve had their career and legacy destroyed.

Oh, and literally nobody is in jail because of “muh Russia”.
Would you rather be Manafort too?

I know the left is all about fan fic politics these days, but the unfortunate truth is you’re simply looking at the early results of age related dementia.
And this guy is leading the POTUS defense. :rolleyes:

Then why complain about the scope? The scope was granted by Congress, our elected officials, in the face of overwhelming evidence.

If he's dirty he's dirty.
Fixed it for you. You don't really expect a guy with NY values to be clean do you? :D

So are they close to a decision? I fully expect something stupid cause that's what we deserve.

Trump running the investigation against him. Sounds logical.
