No hot dogs to support yours?
Be fair...you have no idea what Mueller's report will say. The special counsel has indicted 30+ Russians and it seems pretty clear that Manafort and Stone are getting prison terms for conspiracy to defraud the US...not just financial stuff.

Sig bet that Roger Stone will not serve any time in prison as a direct result of Mueller's investigation.

Sure.

So you must think he will be found not guilty...because he 100% is getting indicted.

Doesn't Hannity already have a questionable relationship with lawyers for Trump? Is he just full on trolling now?

Fuck I wish that guy would fall from a balcony.

Which people, and what do you think they might do?

People that voted for and lawfully elected Trump, who else would I mean? And others who felt our system was in jeopardy, I'd guess. Who knows what they might do? I hope we don't find out. Division is being promoted. Frankly, most of it from the left. I don't know how you argue otherwise.

Is this what we're going to do now? Each time we aren't happy with an election result we're going to try to remove the POTUS for whatever we can find? I don't know, seems like a slippery slope to me. I wasn't an Obama fan, not even a little, but I never supported whatever all this nonsense is being used against him during his presidency. Most normal people didn't. And certainly no rage in the streets/mass protests shit was going on pre-Trump.
Problem is, most of the left at all levels and in all professions, including those they dominate (media, journalism, academia, etc.) are just rabidly after Trump for anything they can bring up and I don't think it's very healthy for the republic. It's not going to get better if the left doesn't get hold of themselves and just roll with the punches. The pendulum has been swinging hard left for 10 years until Trump and 8 years of Trump isn't going to ruin anything.
We will survive Trump as a nation, but I'm not sure about antifa and all this other PC bullshit we're seeing unless we put a stop to it.
There will be another election, that's where we decide on our top leaders. At the ballot box. Not in courtrooms or in the streets violently "protesting" (i.e. rioting and injuring people and damaging property).

This scam of an investigation should be ended immediately. By any means necessary. It's so far outside its intended scope and is simply a plane crash into a damn train wreck at this point. Wrap it or scrap it. Trump shouldn't fuck with this shit much longer. Obama/Holder or Lynch, and Bush/Gonzalez would have crushed this shit long ago. It's a disgrace at this point. Mueller should walk away, which is what finding nothing calls for at this point.

This type of post is what worries me. Trump can be a criminal. As in factually, empirically, a full blown criminal. Let's investigate and find out. If you're going to protest any actions against him take a look at the proof first.

Call me when you can list all the members of Obama's family w/ clearance and White House positions and show me all the ways he profited from his position and all the people that were proven corrupt in his inner circle that had to get quit/were fired.

I couldn't even finish reading this. Are you serious? Just the Trump Tower meeting alone is enough to warrant an investigation. Much less than the links Manafort has to Russia and the communications Flynn had with them. Let's hope foreign powers don't succeed in pitting us into another civil war.

The Mueller investigation was completely warranted, Trump has nobody to blame but himself.

Mueller is as well respected a person as has existed in government. Ever.

Let him do his report. See where the chips fall. Stop whining about the process and acting like he's investigating nothing. He's not going to invent evidence, so settle down.

And Obama didn't comport himself in a way that warranted this sort of treatment. Trump has.

The Mueller investigation was completely warranted,

Special counsel investigations are supposed to investigate criminal wrongdoing. There was no publicly available evidence that Trump or his campaign had engaged in any kind of criminal wrongdoing with regard to cooperation with Russia. Firing Comey was well within Trump's power and does not constitute obstruction of justice.

A nonpartisan commission to investigate foreign interference (by any country aiding/harming any candidate) in the 2016 election would have been preferable. If Mueller doesn't find crimes related to Russia-Trump links, he will be seen having failed. Thus Mueller will feel pressure to drag this thing out as long as possible and to use tough tactics to "squeeze" witnesses like Papadopolous in an attempt to make them sing. The problem is that these people often "compose" to relieve the pressure on them. The prosecutor ends up abusing his powers and wasting taxpayer money in exchange for bad information.

Mueller seems to be a thorough guy, and I await his final report. Afterward, I hope to see bipartisan reform of the special counsel process. I do recognize this is something of a pipe dream in today's hyper-partisan climate.

Trump Tower meeting with Junior, who was told it was info supplied by the Russian government, Manafort ties to Russia, Flynn communications with Russia during Obama's term. You can't talk your way into a technicality. This will be investigated to its conclusion.

Are you serious? Just the Trump Tower meeting alone is enough to warrant an investigation. Much less than the links Manafort has to Russia and the communications Flynn had with them. Let's hope foreign powers don't succeed in pitting us into another civil war.

Any time you perceive something to be shady, a special counsel with an effectively unlimited mandate should be appointed to investigate it? In your view, what should be the standard for appointment of a special counsel to investigate the president and his cabinet/campaign? The current standard appears to be: it happens whenever the acting AG wants it to.

I'm all for investigating government. I think the GAO and the various inspector generals should be beefed up. But those are permanent positions without subpoena/prosecutorial power.

Again, there was no publicly available evidence of criminal wrongdoing related to "Russian collusion" to justify the appointment of a special counsel.

Trump Tower meeting with Junior,

There is nothing criminal about meeting with someone from Russia even if (as is still unproven) opposition research was exchange.

Manafort ties to Russia

Manafort's potential tax evasion case could have been handled by any federal prosecutor. The case has nothing to do with Mueller's mandate.

Flynn communications with Russia during Obama's term

It's normal for transition officials to meet with foreign officials. Flynn's real problems concern a Turkish cleric---again nothing related to Russia. Also, notice that the best Mueller could do was to get Flynn on perjury. That means Flynn is useless as a witness.

I don't know you well but you do seem to be far right. I don't know if you're a big Trump supporter or not. The available evidence is clearly enough to warrant an investigation. Let's not get into a war over it until the facts are released. Good or bad surely some people will complain. Mueller is a patriot though and he should be given the appropriate amount of respect.
