Agreed, $7000 of games for $120 is the worst value in gaming.

I never said it was the worst value in gaming. I said I wasn't sold on it. Because I prefer owning physical copies of my games. You don't actually own any of the games on Game Pass. Why would I want to pay $120 per year for access to a bunch of games when I'm only going to play a fraction of them? If you're going to argue that newly released games today cost $60-$70 so I'll get my money's worth if I play 2 games a year,

1.) I almost never buy games at full price.
2.) I still don't own the games.

I'd rather spend $120 per year crafting my own unique physical collection than having access to a bunch of games I don't own or care about. Also, can you guarantee that Game Pass is gonna be around forever? (Sega most certainly could not with their Sega channel.)

No it wont. You don't want PC players mixed in they'll just cheat like they always do. Exclusive FPS will work just fine as long as it's a good game. Most MP games used to be people playing just with their own console base. Cross play just recently became a thing.

A lot of people play cross play nowadays. We have a large group that play regularly and half play on PC. I'd imagine many people are in a similar situation as me. I'm not gonna play an fps regularly if my buddies aren't playing it as well.

When it comes to digital, yes, you don't really "own" your games. All you've done is pay for a license to be able to play the games on a PS5 console through your account. I don't see it all that differently from paying to watch tv shows or movies on Youtube.
